Story
Reno came to us out of the local shelter. He had a big tumor on his chest, and a severe eye infection. He has since been fully vetted and neutered. The eye infection has cleared, but Reno does have chronic dry eye that will require lifelong medication. Reno's eye sight is compromised, he can see, but has a tendency to bump into things. He doesnt let it slow him down when it comes to playing with the other dogs.

Story
For those of you who don’t remember Syd, she is the pit mix puppy who was attacked by another dog, spent time at @kingsburgvet and surrendered to PC. Syd has had a long recovery time, besides the initial injuries from the attack she had difficulty breathing. Our wonderful vet partner @kingsburgvet did various testing, x-rays, bloodwork, & cultures. While they were able to eliminate some disease concerns, we never were able to pin down the exact issue. Syd has a crazy overbite and still snorts when she breathes so it may be possible that her anatomy also contributed to some of her early breathing issues. The vet along with her foster mom provided Syd with supportive care to help get her thru the worst of her issues. It was touch and go for awhile and not being able to figure out a definitive answer was frustrating for everyone but we are just glad that she is doing better now and growing into such a good girl. Syd has been raised in a home with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and gets along with everyone. She is crate trained, housebroken, very treat motivated and is lower to medium energy level. She has completed her puppy vaccine series, microchipped, flea tick treated, dewormed, received her rabies vaccine and spayed. If you would like to be considered for the adoption of a dog or puppy, please follow the steps below and submit an application through our independent process (Petfinder “matchmaking” emails are not part of our process and we are unable to respond to them). If you have questions you must reach out to us as we do not have the capacity to individually contact all applicants. You may call 559-393-1946 between 6PM and 9PM if you have additional questions AFTER SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. We hold adoption events at Petsmart San Jose every Saturday starting at 11am, and most of our adoptable dogs can be met by appointment at these events. Copy and paste the link below to submit a pre-screen application for the dog of interest, or find the link on our website www.pawsitiveconnections.org. Due to the overwhelming amount of interest our dogs receive, we unfortunately will not be able to reach out to all applicants who apply. If you do not receive correspondence from us, it is likely a reflection of the amount of applications we received. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScGSOxbGTIIintrGXUi8H-ddLv41aA0XUbELmNi0YhUIWQHRA/viewform /Adoption fee will include spayneuter, microchip, rabies vaccine (dependent on age), bordatella vaccine, parvodistemper vaccine (1-4 depending on age of dog), dewormer (2-4), monthly nexgard for flea and tick treatment./July 16, 2024, 6:37 pm

Story
Meet River - A petite girl that has taken her time deciding on her forever home. This special girl will thrive in an experienced home with older kids (12 +) and a quiet low traffic home as she can take time to warm up to strangers. She enjoys the company of some dogs, but doesn't always like to share her stuff with them. So she may be best as your only fur-child, but a like size male may work, with proper introductions. NO CATS. This silly girl knows most of her commands and loves to show them off to her friends. She pulls some on leash, but walks well on a front clip harness and responds well to confident leadership. She LOVES treats, toys and exploring the outdoors. And she is great in the car. She's the perfect travel or adventure buddy! An application is needed to meet River, or contact terese@fresnobullyrescue with additional questions.

Story
Meet Franny! This medium sized girl loves people and does ok with dogs with proper introduction. Although she would do best as the only dog in the home. No cats please. She has a low to medium energy and walks well on leash. She has a very mellow, sweet and silly personality. She is not destructive in her kennel and would love a nice, warm home to call her own. Franny originally came to us pregnant, and all of her puppies have since found homes. Now it's her turn! Come meet this beautiful girl at our shelter. To learn more about our adoption process, our fees and to apply to adopt from Fresno Bully Rescue, please visit https://fresnobullyrescue.org/adopt*Must be 18 or older to apply for adoption
