Story
Yerba is a shy but sweet pup who will need some time and patience to feel comfortable in a new home. She came in as a stray, so her history with kids, cats, and dogs is unknown. Yerba appears to be dog social, but she prefers slow, calm greetings and does best with less pushy canine companions. With gentle introductions and a supportive environment, she has the potential to blossom into a loving companion.

Story
Meet Bently, a high-energy, sweet, and lovable dog who thrives with activity and attention. He loves running, playing fetch, balls, and just about any toy. He is going to need guidance with positive based crate and potty training. He has lived with children and a cat, though he may chase cats playfully, and he enjoys being around other dogs despite not having lived with one. He would do best with an active family and a yard, especially one prepared to help manage and work through his anxiety.

Story
Diamond is a playful girl who’s ready for an active and patient home! She would benefit from training classes, which will help her channel her energy and adjust to new routines. Diamond is athletic and clever—she can jump a 4-foot fence, so a secure yard or supervised outdoor time will be important. Like many dogs, she may need a little time to adjust to her new home. Diamond has been available for almost two weeks and is excited to meet her future family! Please contact Diamond`s foster mom, Tatiana, at Tatiana_manzano@yahoo.com to inquire about Diamond or set up a visit. Please allow up to 24 hours for Tatiana to respond.

Story
This girl came to us as a stray, so her past is a mystery. Because of that, introductions to other animals and children should be slow, gentle, and positive to help everyone feel comfortable especially since she has shown discomfort towards other dogs. Taking things at a slow pace sets the stage for lasting friendships. Moving into a new home is a big change, and she may need extra time to settle in. Predictable routines and patience will help her feel safe and secure.

Story
Precious Hank is desperately waiting for his forever family. He has had a rough start in life, being abandoned & left wandering the streets. He was picked up & brought to a local shelter. His time there was limited so we pulled him & the rest is history. Hank is 5 years old, very sweet & affectionate. He loves to cuddle up on the couch. Hank has a wobbly gait & limited mobility due to having a spinal condition, T3L3 myelopathy. This condition does not stop him from having fun, however, he requires the Help Em' Up harness to give him more support. Hank can enjoy short walks. He also requires daily pain medication. Hank is up to date on vaccines, neutered, & healthy. Hank gets along with doggies, but needs to be with dogs who will not be overly playful due to his spine. Hank also gets along with kitties as well, but needs to eat separately from animal siblings. Hank would do best with older kids who are respectful. Hank is located In NY. transportation will be provided. Please send an email to fanabalasanctuary@gmail.com for an application. * INDOOR HOME ONLY.
