Handsome and charming Koda is available. He is: • House trained! • Friendly with people, including older children. • Treat motivated. • Very smart – knows all common commands. • A good listener- he has a good recall and redirects well. Koda can be dog-selective. He prefers female dogs and previously lived with a female dog. For this reason, we believe he may do best in a home as the only pet. Story
This is “Piglet.” I first met him after getting a call that there was a very affectionate dog running around our town. I sometimes pick dogs up because our pound known as the “Mason County Animal Shelter” in Kentucky has been full for over 10 years now. They try to take decent care of the 20 or so dogs that are in there, but the dogs on the outside are out of luck. So I was able to find a friend to take him, but things didn’t work, so after being denied by the Brown County Humane Society in Ohio and ours in Kentucky Piglet was accepted into Kentucky’s Lewis County Animal Shelter. After being there a month and a half he was set to be euthanized. I heard about this and pulled him. Piglet is an “Old Family Rednose Pitbull Terrier.” This is the rarest and most expensive of the American Pitbull Terrier Breed. The pups go for $1,000 - $3,000 apiece. He needs a home where he can “be in the spotlight” by himself. My number is: (Six Zero Six) Five Eight Four - Eight Zero One Zero. Please call!!

Story
What happened to that shy, unsocialized doggie that turned up at the Shelter a few months ago? Neglected and scared, Uno clung to his pal Bailey, terrified. Today he is healthy and loves everyone. He cant wait to go for a walk then romp in the yard. An active family would keep Uno busy and allow him to live life to the fullest. Such a sweet, loving fellow - do you need a new friend? If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Story
Keiko, a 5 & 1/2 yr old female black Pitt-bull is fully vetted & ready for adoption! This gorgeous girl has long legs & a beautiful black coat. Keiko can be a little shy at first but once she gets to know you, she is a ball of fun! You can find her rolling around in the yard, doing her flips as she struts her stuff! Keiko came from a home with 2 other dogs, so we believe she will do good in a home with other dogs. We encourage meet & greats for those looking to adopt & have dogs in the home. Keiko would do great in a home with older children, we believe she would love to have a couple older kids to protect & call her own. If not, we know she wouldn't mind retiring on a farm with lots of land or in a home on a couch with the tv on. If you think this sweet old gal is the one for you, head on over to our website, https://www.adamscountyanimals.org/contact-us & place an application today or call (937)-544-8585 if you have any questions! If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!
