Cedar trees also symbolize strength, resiliency and longevity which pretty much describes me. I was a little scared when I was first picked up but since being at the shelter I have come full circle from that scared stray dog I used to be. Now I'm loving life and learning everyday. I'm a volunteer favorite and a happy go lucky guy. My vet friend here says I'm only about a year old. I have to be fixed yet which is scheduled for April 25th but I have started my vaccinations so I'm good to meet my new family. Much of my history isn't known so not sure if I have lived with kids or other animals before but I'm game to meet everyone and see how I do. Sweet Stella gave birth to her pups in the midst of a wild fire and then was brought to safety by good Samaritans. Two of her pups survived and she has been a terrific mother, but now it’s time for this heroic girl to be cuddled and cared for and get the lucky break she deserves. Stella is a pit mix and about 2 years old, loves people, is dog selective and not sure yet about cats. She is housebroken and loves to be cuddled.

All of our animals have been spayed or neutered, brought up to date on age appropriate shots, wormed and flea treated.  Our adoption fee is $200 for 7 months and older. 8 weeks to 6 months are $225.  ALL ADULT DOGS COME WITH A ONE (1) WEEK TRIAL.Addie gave birth to 12 puppies just a few short hours after coming into rescue. She was such a great mom and lovingly raised up 10 healthy, happy puppies that all got adopted. It is her turn now and we hope she finds the best family ever!Addie is a 3 yr old female Pit Bull mix weighs 60 pounds. Housebroken, crate trained ( has escaped- reinforcement may be needed). A happy, smiley girl, Addie does best with dogs closer to her size( can be a bit protective of her food when she is really hungry- so feed separate from other dogs), sorry no little fluffy dogs or cats. She has been around children, but doesn't always understand personal space and can be a jumper, so older, sturdy kids may be best lol. Addie likes nothing more than to be with her person, snuggle time is the best time. Addie does need some work on basic house manners- items on counters are soooo tempting.
