Story
Crystal is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. She loves to be around people and has the energy to play all day. She loves to give kisses and lean into you whenever she can, and if you spray some water with a hose she will happily try to eat it. But, she was born with a bad set of genes. She has some significant allergies (I have a list) and has to eat a Hydrolized PPA diet prescribed by the vet. She also has reactions because some of her allergies are somewhat unavoidable. She needs lots of exercise and training. I have done everything I can to help her family care for her both financially and physically, but it’s just not enough and I can no longer afford to care for her. She needs lots of love and care. If you have the financial, physical, and emotional ability to give her what she needs, I know she will repay you as the most loyal dog.

Story
Brad is housebroken, quiet, wonderful in the car (and in public) and very attentive to training. He’s highly food-motivated and eager to learn, making him a great match for someone interested in dog training. He’s learning to wait patiently in his crate, not bolt out the door, and approach meals with a little more calm. He has come a long way and continues to improve every day. His leash skills are also impressive. Brad checks in often on walks, walks calmly at your side, and will even sit automatically when you stop. Brad is still working on impulse control around doors and can get overstimulated at barriers. A home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids or teens will be the safest and most successful match for him as he continues learning calmer behavior. Brad has done well with a older female canine housemate. They enjoyed calm walks together and he did well respecting her need for space. He enjoys wrestling, zooming around the yard, and sunbathing with a good chew toy. He is not overly clingy but does appreciate the occasional couch cuddle. Brad Pitt is a loyal, smart, and affectionate dog who is ready for his next chapter. Could that be with you? If interested, please fill out a preliminary at odas.org/canine and someone will contact you to schedule your visit.

Story
Brenda is a sweet, energetic dog that loves to play. She is a 2 years old brown/black brindle. She weighs about 40 pounds. I got her from a friend whose dogs had a litter of 11 pups. She is a mixed breed with American pit, Labrador retriever and others. I usually take her to the nearby state park boat ramp and let her run there. She eats well, dry or wet food. She is fussy about getting her bath and her nails done. Brenda is barky when excited and has a sharp bark. Brenda will climb up in my lap and nap while I am reading or on the computer. I'm 69 and recently developed health problems that necessitated my moving in with my son and daughter-in-law. We decided it would be best to re-home Brenda. I will get her immunizations up to date this month.
