Story
This beautiful, sweet, and gentle boy here is Tabor. Tabor came from a hard medical past and is now healthy and thriving as he looks forward to his future with his very own people! Tabor’s foster family has learned a lot about him and therefore have a lot to share. Tabor is such a loving boy and has so much love he wants to share with his people. We cannot put into words how special Tabor is; you’ll just have to meet him to know! Tabor’s foster family has fallen in love with him and knows tears will be shed when it’s finally Tabor’s turn to leave the shelter behind him and go home with his furever family. Tabor is about 6 years old and is the epitome of man’s best friend. He is very loyal and listens very well. He will need a home where he can be inside with his people and be let out to use the bathroom and play (he can use the doggy door). Tabor is trusted to be loose in his foster’s home and doesn’t need a kennel. He will lay down and sleep just fine with a doggie bed out in the open or even in a little nook of the house. He has been working on kennel training and does very well once he trusts his people to let him out whenever he goes in. So far, he can be in the kennel for about 4 hours while we’re running errands. If you’re in the room with him then there’s no problem since he can see you and knows he’s safe. Although he’d rather lay his head on your lap!Patience while kennel training will be required as the kennel can cause too much stress on his body which was a problem with his medical past.Tabor goes to work during the day with his foster dad and he hangs out with the other employees and other dogs. He loves jumping in the car and going to work. It means more time with his people. He will need someone who will be patient and laugh with him when they learn that he has figured out how to open doors when his family is on the other side of it. He even figured out how to open one of the baby gates when we told him he wasn’t allowed to jump over it. Technically he didn’t break the rule! He follows his people around everywhere in the house. He’s very gentle but will sometimes walk right on your feet. Tabor is exclusively eating Purina One brand dog food and he has 1.5 cups of dry food with 0.5 can of the Tender Cut wet food 2 times a day. He also loves to have a treat once every other day! (We know this diet works to keep him healthy and prevent history from repeating.) Tabor needs someone who understands his past medical history and will be attentive to ensuring it doesn’t happen again.Tabor would do best in home without cats but is GREAT with dogs and wants to meet everyone. Tabor is a wonderful dog, the best boy, and a loving companion. He deserves a wonderful home to live the rest of his best days.

Story
Due to no fault of her own, Nola is looking for a new forever home. Her current placement can no longer keep her due to a change in housing restrictions. Nola is an American Pitbull Terrier and she’s 3 years old, she is an absolute sweetheart and has never shown any aggression or bad behavior. She’s good with people , other dogs and even cats. I want Nola to go to the best home and be very well taken care of and loved on. She’s not an outside dog so if you are looking for that then she is not for you. Nola is a lap dog and wants to be right beside you at all times when you’re around her. There’s so much more to know about Nola so if you’re interested please message me. Message me for more details and ANY questions you have. Please SERIOUS inquiries only.

Story
Mr. Smiley should be Blue's name as it is indeed for this resilient and loving pup! Despite enduring such hardships, his gentle and affectionate nature shines through. It's heartwarming to see how great he is with children and seeing his loving soul. Thankfully, Lucky Paws Rescue is providing him with the care and support he needs to heal and thrive while he finds his furever home. It's wonderful that they're covering his heartworm treatment and offering guidance on managing his flea allergies and sensitive tummy. Potential adopters should take note of his preferences, particularly regarding other dogs (he does not like alpha males), to ensure a harmonious home environment for Blue (aka Smiley), He would prefer a home WITHOUT other dogs. With the right family, he'll surely continue to brighten lives with his infectious smile and unwavering love. For those interested in adopting or learning more about him, reaching out to Lucky Paws Rescue at 839-333-7760 or visiting their website at www.luckypawsrescueinc.org would be a great next step. Let's help find Mr. Smiley the loving forever home he deserves! Story
We rescued Spot when we have about 5 weeks old, after he’s mother passed and the family that had them, couldn’t afford the needed puppy formula for all the puppies! He is currently about 1,5 years old and a cuddly and sweet dog and is great with kids (he’s used to our 1 year old daughter, who good with her since birth). He’s kennel trained and comes with it and any necessary things. He is used to have an other dog in the house with him, and they always got along well. They loves to run and play. We are expecting a second baby, and currently both work full time (my husband and me) and this will stay this way even after the birth of our second. Spot is a dog that wants attention and wants to be close. With your work hours and baby number 2 on the way, we can not give him the time he deserves! Plus we will move to Germany next year, his breed it a very restricted breed there, we don’t want to take the chance. Having to put him down there.

Story
Meet Sweet Stella! Stella is a very sweet and good-natured girl who loves to play fetch and chase her toys. She loves everyone she meets and wants all the belly rubs you can give. She has even been on TV - watch her clip here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_w4mnv7rJWM She is around 4 to 5 years old, 73 lbs, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. She loves to go for walks just as much as she loves taking naps on the couch or sprawled out in the sunshine! After a few ear rubs and pets she rolls over on her back for belly rubs for pretty much anyone. She is great at riding in the car and is able to jump into the back of an SUV on her own with no assistance. Stella is eager to meet all dogs (small and large) and people that come near her. Her tail will wag the whole time - no hesitation, no aggression. She is definitely man’s best friend. In a temporary foster placement, it was noted that she gravitated to the father and son of the household, and not at all with the mother. Although she is fine with other dogs in social settings, once she is at home, she really wants to be the only animal. Definitely no cats for Stella. Stella is a an all around great, loveable girl looking for a family to love. If your family needs a sweet and lovable house-hippo, Stella is your girl! Please complete an adoption application on our website and once approved, we can set up a meet and greet for you. Fenced yard required for this girl who loves to run and play!
