Quill is good with kids (has been around older ones, but would likely do okay with small ones) and has been around other dogs of both genders without issue. He is learning to walk on a leash, but mainly stays close to the ranch shop without issue. He crates okay when needed and will stay well in a secure fence. Quill has a fairly laid back personality. Meet Ryker! We'e known Ryker since he arrived at the local shelter in Spring 2024. We brought him along with us when we separated from the partnered shelter the following Fall because we couldn't imagine leaving such a special boy behind. Ryker came into the shelter just hardly out of puppyhood, and he had a really hard time growing up in the small, loud kennels with never enough help for regular enrichment. He had so much pent-up energy and just didn’t know what to do with it all, which unfortunately led to him being "at-risk" for euthanasia when the shelter ran out of space for incoming dogs. Luckily, Ryker's current foster came along and literally saved his life. He finally had the chance to decompress and has learned so much while in foster care! Ryker's foster describes him as “a chill guy who just wants to chill on the couch with you.” But Ryker's the best of both worlds, as he LOVES some rough'n'rowdy play when the time comes! Ryker has also been working with a trainer to unlearn some of his bad puppy manners that developed from a lack of early socialization. With consistency, he has shown a real eagerness to learn and please his human friends. All he needs now is a forever parent to help him keep that wonderful momentum going! The best part? Ryker is crate trained, leash trained, dog friendly with dogs that can match or appreciate his energy, and LOVES to be the center of attention. Luca is the sweetest dog! He loves to play, cuddle on the couch, and run around. He’s very awkward and goofy, and will keep you laughing. We found Luca when he was 7 weeks old and have had him since! He is almost 4. He is dog selective, but we have another dog in our home and they get along well. He spends most of his day laying on the couch and playing with his toys. Do not be fooled though! This man has his wild moments and often times gets the zoomies! He loves to wrestle and play rough. I personally think he would be best suited for someone that has had a pitty before and is willing to put in some training with this guy. He is very scared of children so someone that does not have children or see children often would be best. He is such a smart guy though and willing to learn that I really think he could love children one day. He just needs someone willing to put in the work and we just don’t have time. Overall, he has truly been the best dog!

I got him off a friend who was moving. He rescued him from a bad household. Hes about 3 years old, 80-90 lbs. And is very energetic. Hes somewhat housetrained. Almost 0 worry about him peeing on carpet, but if he isnt let out frequently he is not afrain and will pee on tables like theyre a tree or bush. Hes very bad with tugging when on walks, but other than that he truely is a good dog. I dont know how he is with other animals. He will tug hard to get to an animal. But weve never let him actually reach one. But he also almost never barks. In his 3 years, split between me and my friend weve heard him bark a total of 6-8 times. Hes amazong with people. Be cautious letting him around unknown animals. He probably wont be aggressive to friendly animals. But maybe if the other animal is aggressive.
