Story
Saeki is a very playful and vocal girl. She is high energy and loves to run around. I am looking to rehome her due to her not getting along with my 2 other female cats. She may get along better with a male kitty. She is a little over a year old and is up to date on all vaccinations.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Pearl Biscuits was taken in as a stray by a caring family when she was pregnant. She was taken by foster till she had the kittens and now that they're all when she's ready to go to her new home. She's very sweet and affectionate when she gets to know you. Not ashy or skittish but not great with other cats. She's litter box trained, and absolutely no trouble whatsoever.

Story
Trish favors a cat window perch to watch the butterflies go by or the leaves blow in the wind or the rain fall. She is cautious around new people or new environment; give Trish a few days to become comfortable so she can socialize with her new family. She makes use of a scratching post to manicure her nails and finds entertainment and solitude in a cozy corrugated cottage hut. Trish's favorite time to play is nighttime! Her ideal home is one that is fairly calm with an individual, couple or family; Trish is accustomed to being around children and prefers calm kids over rambunctious ones! She has not been observed around other cats or a cat-friendly dog. Trish is a 2-year-old brown tiger tabby with white mittens, white blaze, white cheeks, white chin, a nose that is half pink and half black, and attractive hazel eyes. Story
Miranda is calm, gentle and a quiet kitty. She spends her day in a favorite place. Miranda takes in the day by lounging around, she is inactive, somewhat of a “couch potato!” Miranda welcomes petting especially on top of the head. She is ideal for someone who is not home often as she does not require constant attention and has her limits of petting and holding. Miranda does not like to be over stimulated and will make you aware with a “meow.” She is independent and not needy. She is not a lap cat (that's the British in her!), but she does like to be near her human companion. Miranda’s ideal home is with an individual, couple or family with older children as she will not be playful with the younger kids. Miranda is accustomed to being around other cats but would be fine without cats. Miranda will do okay around a dog that does not overly interact with her. She is a 12-year-old blue American Shorthair/British Shorthair with a tiger tabby pattern. Miranda has a broad face, stocky body, thick coat and dainty paws. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Mercy

American Shorthair

Female, 6 yrs 1 mo
Ocean Springs, MS

Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Mercy has established solace in her name as she has found compassion on two occasions -- 1) when a compassionate citizen picked her up from the highway after being hit by a vehicle and took Mercy for medical care, and 2) when a compassionate foster volunteer brought Mercy to a home environment upon the request of an animal clinic when her caretaker requested Mercy be euthanized because she has a compromised immune system. Mercy is shy and reserved; she will need to establish compassion and trust with her new human companion. Her relationship will be built upon assurance, certainty, confidence and patience along with time. Mercy is laid back, quiet and fond of petting. She is pleased by laying in cardboard boxes or adores a window seat. Mercy prefers to move around on 4-powered paws than being carried from place-to-place. Her safety zone is under a bed when she feels threatened. Mercy's ideal home is one with a calm environment where she will be the only indoor feline; a home where Mercy can explore freely at her own pace. She is a great companion cat for someone who doesn't need a velcro kitty! Mercy is 6 years old and has a tortoiseshell pattern with white. She has an immunodeficiency virus (FIV) that may lead to increased susceptibility to infections. Mercy currently does not have clinical signs of the virus.
