Story
We are looking to rehome our cat due to new HOA rules in our neighborhood. We adopted Evie when she was around 4 months old in December of 2017. She was a stray who had been roaming my in-laws neighborhood, along with her siblings, for weeks. We wanted her to be an inside kitty, but she was very unhappy staying inside, so she became in indoor/outdoor kitty. Everthing was fine until last summer, when a neighbor complained to our HOA about Evie being in their yard. At the time there wasn't a rule about cats being kept inside, so there was nothing the HOA could do. That changed in October of 2024 when the HOA pet rules were revised. Evie is no longer allowed to go outside. We bought a catio, hoping she would be happy hanging out in it, but she's not. We want to find her a home where she can explore the outdoors as well as come inside for cuddles and pets.
