Story
Salem is a good cat. He's about 31/2 years old. He's an indoor cat, very quiet and keeps to himself. Salem loves looking out an open window at the birds. Salem is playful at times. He sleeps through the night, for the most part, no worry about night zoomies. Not much of a lap cat. He will lay on the bed/couch, but not too close to you. Bathing hasn't really been an issue, as long as you get in and get out. He will sit, 5 - 10 minutes max. He hates towel or anything covering him. I guess some kind of tramatic thing before we got him from the shelter. I dry him as quickly as much as I can after bathing, then let him air dry on his own. I try bathing when the weather is warmest. Salem doesn't like to be held, older kids ages 12+ would be ideal for him, as younger children are tempted to pick up a cat, and he will scratch and/or bite when he don't want to be bother.

Story
Annie is a calm little baby. Chubby and really adorable. Even though she is a kitten, she is quite calm, she often plays with other kittens, but prefers to be up on her tower, sunbathing through the window or resting on a big bed. He can spend hours purring in your lap! All of our cats have been raised, and kept, as indoor cats. They prefer the indoors and we prefer that for them. The average indoor cat lives 12 to 15 years while an outdoor cat will live an average of three. Adopted him from San Diego Animal Care Facility back in June, he is about 8 months old now. Very timid behavior, runs away from any human contact but gets along with my other cat.
