Story
Otto was adopted from the Denver Animal Shelter a little over a year ago. He was listed as 1-2 years old, but he grew quite a bit after adoption and I believe he was younger than 1 year. He is a very social boy, almost always in the same room as everyone. He loves to snuggle up on your lap but while there he does not like to be pet. He loves to play and needs a lot of it. The reason we need to rehome him is because he has play aggression issues that include biting. We have been trying to work on these issues but have not had success. I think he could benefit from a cat friend but I am not in a place to introduce a new cat into the home. We have an infant and he was ok the first 2 months but recently has taken a major interest to her and we do not feel safe with him around her with his current behavior issues. I love this cat so very much but just cannot seem to give him the home he needs. He gets very frightened by the sound of the baby crying and loud sudden noises in general.

My name is Athena, I like sunbathing and stealing your heating pad. I like my toys but especially love boxes. I am an indoor kitty but plus if you have an enclosed patio. I like to play, but I also sometimes need my space.

Story
Sabrina Lou was adopted in July of 2025 from a shelter where she got a clean bill of health. Sabrina was a stray up until she was rescued by the shelter. Sabrina is sweet, cuddly, and calm. She is 11 years old and can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly. Sabrina does not do well with other animals and that is why I am looking to re-home her. Sabrina does best in a quiet home with no other animals. Sabrina does not bite or claw. She is quite talkative especially when she is hungry. Sabrina is a wonderful cat and is looking for a loving home! We are absolutely willing to waive the adoption fee if we find the right home!

Story
Loki has been with me for a long time, I've had him since 2012. He does ok with dogs, buts it’s been a few years since he’s been around them and he does ok with cats. I have another cat that he lives with, but he does play rough and likes to chase her. He likes cuddling, he likes being with people and he used to do really well at the vet. My ex used to be very mean to him, so he flinches a bit and tends to run if you raise your voice. I kept him after the divorce, but I can’t keep up with the vet bills. He needs his shots and needs imaging for his stomach, since he vomits too often. I was happy to save him from my ex but I feel like I’m not giving him a good home because of his medical needs. The adoption fee is waive-able of course, I just don’t want him to end up in a bad home. He meows a lot, too, I know some people prefer quiet cats. He’s a little dog-like. He doesn’t like little kids much since he’s older now, but he used to love them.

Story
Tonks is incredibly sweet and loves spending time near her person — she’ll curl up next to you while you read or nap in a sunny window all afternoon. She’s quiet, well-mannered, and still has a playful side when she’s in the mood! Unfortunately, she has been having some litter box issues that seem to be caused by stress from living with other animals. She does not do well with other cats, and we believe she would thrive as the only pet in a peaceful home where she can feel completely safe and secure. She’s spayed, healthy, and up to date on her vet care. Her ideal home would be with someone patient and understanding.

Story
I am fostering Robert as his owner (my friend) had to go to memory care. He was a very beat up street cat in Miami until he was rescued by my friend, he lived with her for 5 yrs. I would love to continue caring for him, but my job requires a lot of travel. Robert is very social, he needs the time and attention he deserves. Robert is about 13 years old and as such, he has certain old man qualities. He has arthritis which requires a monthly shot. He is a total lap magnet. I bring him into the office from time to time and he will happily post up with anyone. He likes aggressive petting including belly rubs. He currently lives with a dog and they get on swimmingly, he previously lived with a Shepard so dogs are not an issue. He is FIV+ so other cats in the home are not ideal. They seem to always bully him. He has no teeth so it’s hard for him to transfer FIV+ anyway. He needs wet food. He comes with all the accessories, self-cleaning litterbox, scratch pads, stairs. He is a very good boy!
