Story
Leo was born in May 2017 to a stray mother. I adopted him and his brother once they were old enough. He is a true southern cat who likes to sleep his days away and enjoy the cool night air. He eats dry food twice a day and midday snacks. Leo is loving yet not really a lap cat. He spends the evenings near my feet until my bedtime. He doesn’t require a lot of attention unless he’s reminding me he’s hungry.

Story
Lucca was born in May of 2017 to a stray mother along with his brother Leo. I adopted him was soon as he was old enough. Lucca is a loving but independent pet. Not one to be held or sit on my lap but near me and loves getting petted. He does sleep most of the day but then by me in the evenings until my bedtime. He is like a guard cat walking the perimeter of the lanai cage and hunting geckos and tiny frogs. His loud purr is very soothing and reassuring.

Story
Hi my name is Cougar I was left homeless by some thoughtless humans last October. Mother Mary has been my temporary savior since that time. She has fed me twice a day, done my shots, my flea medication, my worm medications, my leukemia vaccination (second and last shot is due 4/18/24), and also neutering (which I wasn’t too happy about). I would really like to be inside, but Mother Mary has a baby kitten and we do not seem to get along, through the glass door. I am a very cute slate grey cat with beautiful green eyes that are full of love and loneliness. I am just waiting not so patiently for some kind person to rescue me from a potential life of crime. I discuss my meals with Mother Mary and I let her pet me. I do try to get into her house but so far I have been unsuccessful. Please save me, as you know, traffic here is murder.

Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Abby is an energetic and fun-loving cat! At two and a half years old, she's just as adorable as she was as a kitten, and she still has plenty of curiosity and an uncanny ability to get into mischief. She's always looking for the next thing to do. So we feel Abby needs an experienced adopter who can keep her safe and healthy! We also feel she would do best in an adult-only household. Abby is very affectionate. She loves kisses, hugs, and sitting/snoozing on her foster mom's lap. Abby was rescued with her sister, Ariel, and both are currently being fostered in a home with two other cats. Abby tends to have a "take charge" personality, but she gets along with everyone. If she isn't adopted with Ariel, she would do very well as a companion for a cat (or cats) already in the adopter's home. The HPC adoption process involves a foster period (to ensure a good "fit") before the adoption is finalized. Since HPC visits the home during that time, potential adopters need to be in the Bradenton/Sarasota (Florida) area.
