Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Abby is an energetic and fun-loving cat! At two and a half years old, she's just as adorable as she was as a kitten, and she still has plenty of curiosity and an uncanny ability to get into mischief. She's always looking for the next thing to do. So we feel Abby needs an experienced adopter who can keep her safe and healthy! We also feel she would do best in an adult-only household. Abby is very affectionate. She loves kisses, hugs, and sitting/snoozing on her foster mom's lap. Abby was rescued with her sister, Ariel, and both are currently being fostered in a home with two other cats. Abby tends to have a "take charge" personality, but she gets along with everyone. If she isn't adopted with Ariel, she would do very well as a companion for a cat (or cats) already in the adopter's home. The HPC adoption process involves a foster period (to ensure a good "fit") before the adoption is finalized. Since HPC visits the home during that time, potential adopters need to be in the Bradenton/Sarasota (Florida) area.

Story
Ariel is not only a beautiful cat, she's also unique! She has a small black "beard" and a short tail and looks very similar to a Japanese Bobtail, even though that breed isn't reflected in her DNA report. She's half American Domestic Cat with lower percentages of Norwegian Forest Cat, Highlander, Scottish Fold, and Siamese/Oriental Cat. At two and a half years old, Ariel really isn't a kitten any more, but she's still energetic and curious. She loves to play, and "the zoomies" are part of her daily exercise routine. She has also become very affectionate and loves to cuddle in her foster mom's lap. Ariel was rescued with her sister, Abby, and both are currently being fostered in a home with two other cats. Ariel gets along with everyone. If she isn't adopted with Abby, she would do very well as a companion for a cat (or cats) already in the adopter's home. Story
Molson is the sweetest cat you’ll ever meet. He is great with other female cats and children. He cannot be with other male cats or dogs (which is the reason we must get rid of him). He is affectionate, likes to be held, and is very low maintenance.

House-trained,
Story
A friend of mine had to leave the state quickly and he was unable to find a home for Butter before he left, I offered to find him a good home. This cat is SUPER FRIENDLY and would rather be petted than eat. We have him isolated from our dog and cats at the moment. He was previously an indoor and outoor cat, and was picked on by neighborhood cats, so not sure if he will get along with others. But when I go in to feed him, he comes over and wants to be petted first, and then goes back to the food. Whenever I would visit my friend, Butter would come out to my car and jump up in my lap before I got out of the car. I wish I could keep him, but at the max of cats per my husband, He would make someone a great companion. He is kitty litter trained. He is a fixed male, 4 years old and already has a microchip.

Port Charlotte, FL

Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Zuri was found as a stray who was not using her back legs. X-rays were performed but found no abnormalities. She has paresis in her back legs but is regaining mobility. She will take an experienced and patient foster or adopter. She uses the litterbox on her own but will need one with high sides. A puppy pad around the litterbox is recommended since sometimes she loses her balance. She is seeking a foster or a foster to adopt home, as we are waiting for her to get a little bit better prior to spaying her.

Story
Treble was found as a stray hanging from a fence by his back leg. No broken bones were found, however, he had significant swelling and necrotic tissue in his leg. In the end, his right hind leg had to be amputated. He may only have 3 legs but he doesn't need any special requirements. He can use the litter box on his own just fine. He is very shy but doesn't mind being pet and held. Just needs some time to warm up to his environment. He has healed from his surgery and some of his hair around his incision is starting to grow back. This little tripod kitty will make someone very happy!
