Bootsy Boots! DOB @ 07/ He's very smart and has even learned to manipulate door handles to open doors! He is very obedient and well-behaved, loving petting and attention. He enjoys interactive games, especially with a laser pointer or a fishing rod toy. Bootsy can be picky about his meals; he prefers hard food, eggs, and plain grilled chicken (no salt, skin, or spices). He is very sociable and gets along easily with other cats and dogs (though proper introductions are always a must). Bootsy is neutered, dewormed, and has received his FVRCP and rabies vaccines. We would keep him in a heartbeat if we didn't already have five cats and weren't fostering more!

Adorable Tuxedo kitten! Ideally we would like to adopt Gucci with one of his sisters or brother. We have 2 Tuxedo kittens, one male & one female, 1 orangish light tan boy tiger/tabby, 1 girl grey tiger/tabby. Tuxedo cats have been owned by Shakespeare, Beethoven and Sir Isaac Newton. Also featured as Felix the Cat, Figaro in Pinocchio and Simon was a heroic cat aboard the British war ship, HMS Amethyst. Simon the tuxedo car was awarded a medal for boosting soldier morale and keeping down the rat population, lol.

We ended up adopting Zena from a friend who had taken in a stray which ended up being pregnant. We already had a small dog and cat which had both been adopted and get along great. We thought a new kitten would be fine. Zena was very timid and scared of everyone when we first brought her home of course, but eventually warmed up to me and the dog. Zena is sweet and likes to be pet, but not picked up. She follows me around for her good morning strokes. She likes to lay with my dog sometimes and the dog tolerates it. Our cat Kiki has never been okay with the new cat. There has always been lots of hissing and growling and some small fights. I tried getting the plug in pheromones and that did seem to help a bit. At one point in the first year I thought it may not work out because my original cat Kiki was puking from stress. Things seemed to have died down a bit, but now Zena has started to pee on our couch and I just don’t see things getting any better. She is still a bit of a scaredy cat.

This might sound cliche but she really is a sweet cat. Loves cuddles and will have full blown conversations with you. She loves caps…bottle caps, toothpaste caps, pen caps…her favorite toys!! Don’t be alarmed if you find 20 caps under the couch. She’s good with kids and dogs, for dogs she just needs to warm up to them. She’s been the only pet most of her life. We had a Doberman that passed 5 years ago but they would cuddle together every night. She’s about 8 years old and has tons of love to give. Please give her a great home. We are moving and cannot take her with us. We are heartbroken by this, but we have no other alternatives. Thanks
