Story
Zelda is a quiet 3 year old female dilute calico kitty. She is shy and slow to warm up but once she has she loves very hard. She needs a quiet peaceful home and a gentle patient owner who doesn’t mind earning her love with time. She is needing a new forever home because our home has recently become much busier and louder and it is causing her a lot of anxiety, creating behavioral and health issues such as marking, and stressed induced UTI’s. It is clear she is unhappy and I can’t bare to see her miserable. She has lives with dogs and cats, who she does fine with. She prefers calm quiet dogs as too much excitement makes her upset. She loves her kitty companion, and with proper introduction I’m sure she would do amazing with other feline friends. She is shy around unknown people, and tends to get stressed and hide when new company is over but loves to snuggle and be around when it is only her people around. We only wish for her to live a happy stress free life. Thank you

If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile. After we review your completed survey we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. We're primarily a volunteer organization, so we appreciate your patience. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sundays and Mondays and will not be processing any applications on that day. Do get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey. A PCH adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Story
Tyson is a sweet 12yo girl, I have had her for 8 years. I am only searching a home for her because my husband is allergic, and while I've watched him try many things most of this year I can't keep watching him suffer. Tyson is a little slow to warm up, but she loves to cuddle and play with toys. She has never bit me or clawed on purpose. She tolerates dogs and will secretly cuddle with them, hates other cats, and would only do well with older kids. She loves soft blankets.
