Story
This is Nala. She is a beloved member of our family, and a very adventerous cat. Nala loves to spend time outdoors where she will sneak thru the grass and watch birds and squirrels. She is good friends with our other cat, Hobbes, and very careful with our two small children. We have had her for five years, ever since she was a kitten. Our oldest daughter was born just two months after we adopted Nala, and we have never had any issues with her being aggressive with the kids, even when they would bother her. Nala loves to cuddle and at night she will sit next to you until you get the hint she would like you to pet her. The only health concern Nala has had over the years is that she is prone to getting UTIs. We have kept her on Hills Science Diet Urinary Care cat food to keep this from being an issue. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and will not be able to keep either of our wonderful cats. We'd like each of them to find loving homes, separately or together.

Story
This is Hobbes. He is an 11 year old adult cat who has put up with two children and multiple moves. He's very particular about breakfast and dinner times and will remind you when you forget. He loves to sit in laps and be pet, and his energy level is fairly low, in line with older adult cats. He has had no major health issues and we've owned him since adopting him as a kitten. He gets along great with our other cat, Nala, and mostly stays away from our young children. He is very calm, and would love nothing more than to lay in the sun or your lap all day, preferably while being pet. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and are not able to bring him with us this time. Hopefully we can find a loving family for him and our other cat, Nala, together or seperate.

Story
I got Salem in July of 2020 when she was a kitten. A coworker found her in his truck and I don't know her story before then. I'd describe her as playful, curious, and cuddly; while also being territorial and rather stubborn. She deals well with other animals when given positive reinforcement upon introduction, and especially with animals that are more docile. Moving stresses her out and usually gives her stomach problems that can easily be resolved with a visit to the vet and/or giving her things to help relax into and own her new environment. I am no longer able to take care of her because of my financial situation and where I live now. My sister is taking care of her currently in Ft Wayne but she can only keep her for a little while longer. Salem has been moving around a lot and it's not easy for her, I just want to see her go to a forever home and be happy. It breaks my heart to have to say goodbye, but I know someone out there will love her silly face just as much as I do.

Story
Pancetta is the stereotypical orange, zany cat. He loves the company of humans and craves physical affection. He is pretty vocal with cute short meows and has a fluffy tail. Pancetta is about 4 years old, litter-trained, and mostly orange with some white areas. Pancetta is also FIV-positive. FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives and are typically not a danger to other cats. In fact, after doing some research, I had no fear of bringing him home from the shelter to my family with multiple cats. The only issue Pancetta seems to have is a sinus matter that sometimes results in dark discharge from his right nostril and eye. It doesn’t appear to bother him and he allows me to clean his face without any fuss. I’d love to keep my cat family together. However, due to a family member’s disability increasing in severity, my household has gone through significant and unexpected changes over the past few months. I now am unable to care for my pets like I used to.
