Story
She was really good with the kids and our Shibas. Our older Shiba dies and we eventually got a new Husky puppy. They were doing ok at first. We kept them separate, but had access for the cat to say hi. While introducing, Squeak would just hiss and growl from a far. Continued to slowly interact, but the growling and hissing wouldn't stop. Then even holding Squeak while the puppy was in a cage she would get angry. Once she freaked out and clawed me. As I was she would get angry and start hissing and clawed me. We put her in a laundry room with no dog access. She calmed down, and we in the door way to pet them at the same time, no problem. We let her back into the main area with the laundry room being her safe retreat. Was ok, then she would just get angry and hissing and attack the new dog. The final straw was that she hissed and swiped at our 1.5 year old baby. I think she would do well with a older dog, dogs her size, or alone. The husky is too big with too much energy, and she panics
