Story
Mama Mo is a sweet cat- she has lived a tough life outdoors after her owners moved away. She was a good mama to her kittens (all adopted and loving their new homes)! She is learning to trust people again- and can sometimes be a little spicy if you pet her past her allotted timespan (which only she is privy to).  She had a brief stint at Whisker Station, but that wasn't her jam- she was not at all aggressive with the other cats but prefers a quieter more laid back vibe. So now she is back with us in her favorite chair! She deserves the absolute best- a family (without young kids) that really understands and appreciates cat behavior as she does have a few quirks! I think she would be fine with non-aggressive dogs or cats. She is pretty much ignores the other animals in our home- a dog and 3 other cats.  Mo loves to be brushed and pet, but does not enjoy if you put your face close to her. She will let you know about it! Reach out if you would like more information on Mo! It is definitely worthwhile gaining her trust- she is a special kitty and deserves a special family of her own!November 5, 2024, 10:31 am

Story
Tilly is an original, a one of a kind! She is independent, sassy, bossy, silly, cute and a certifiable Purrpot ALL in a small package! Life is ALWAYS a smile or a laugh with Tilly. She is a free-range family member in her current foster home.  She shares her foster home with her foster mom, dog, cats and one fellow foster sister. She gets along with the extended family and family dogs who come to visit. She is confident with new people and will come to greet and welcome you. She loves to play and even 'hunts' offered treats. She is intelligent and learns quickly. She has shown an interest in the outdoors; she is currently working on harness training along with one of her foster brothers with the same interest. She is groomed and her nails are trimmed on a regular basis. She loves her foster dog and would love to have a kind companion cat or a dog of her own, although Tilly could solo. Tilly is a special girl! IF you would like to be blasted by the ray of sunshine she is, she would LOVE to meet you! Tilly is spayed, up to date on her inoculations and ready to show you how special she is!All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative.  Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $150 for cats and $200 for dogs. Meet O Brother Where Art Thou! This 6-month-old orange tabby boy might start off a little shy, but once he’s comfortable, his playful spirit takes over. If there’s mischief or chaos in the air, you can count on him to be right in the middle of it—pouncing, chasing, and stirring up fun with his kitten friends. He’s the perfect mix of sweet and silly: a soft-hearted boy who needs a little time to trust, but once he does, he’ll keep you laughing with his antics. Whether it’s batting toys, wrestling with other cats, or finding creative ways to entertain himself, O Brother is always up for a good time. If you’re looking for a playful partner in crime with a tender side, O Brother Where Art Thou might just be your match.

Story
Meet Hopscotch — the Playground Pro! Born on April 23, 2025, this bouncy orange tabby boy got his name honestly. At 6 months old, he was spotted right on a school playground, happily trotting from kid to kid like he was joining recess. Hopscotch wasn’t shy—he was introducing himself to everyone, hoping one of those friendly faces would be his forever family. Luckily, a sweet young teacher noticed this brave little explorer and scooped him up before the cold weather could chase him away. Since then, Hopscotch has been soaking up all the love he can get. He’s decided dogs are pretty okay, and he absolutely loves running and pouncing with the family cats—like his own furry game of tag. And just like any good playground buddy, he knows when it’s time to switch from play to cuddle. After supper, Hopscotch loves being held like a baby, giving soft, sweet-eye looks and powering up his biggest purrs. But don’t let his gentle side fool you—this boy has a spot-on sense of time. If mealtime is even a minute late, Hopscotch will kindly “ding-dong” you with his best reminders. With his bright orange coat and sunshiney personality, he’s ready to jump into his next adventure. This gorgeous tabby can’t wait to meetp his forever family—and he’s already saving a spot for you in his next game of hopscotch. 💛🐾

Story
Meet Alvin. Alvin is a gentle soul who’s having a very hard time in the shelter. He spends most of his days hiding, overwhelmed by the noise and constant change—but behind that fear is a cat who desperately wants to feel safe. You can see it in the way he quietly watches, hoping for someone patient enough to give him a chance. Alvin needs a calm home and a family with extraordinary patience—people who will let him move at his own pace and celebrate every small step he takes. He won’t be an instant lap cat, but the trust he’ll eventually place in you will be one of the most meaningful bonds you’ll ever build. If your heart has room for a cat who needs understanding more than anything, Alvin is waiting for you. He’s not asking for much—just safety, kindness, and someone who believes in him.

Story
Meet Jet! 🖤 Jet is a silky black gentleman with a soft heart to match his sleek coat. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his playful personality shines through! Jet especially loves chasing wand toys and engaging in gentle playtime with his trusted humans. Because the busy shelter environment was a bit overwhelming for him, one of our wonderful fosters welcomed Jet into their home, where he’s been able to relax and show us more of his sweet side. He was originally surrendered with another cat, but with all the recent changes, we’re still learning whether he’s open to having a feline friend in his future home. For now, we’re giving him time to settle in before testing his comfort level around other cats. Jet is looking for a patient, loving family who will give him the time and space he needs to fully blossom. Once he trusts you, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal and affectionate companion. If you’d like to meet Jet, please fill out an application below!

Story
🐾 **Meet Mother Goose: A Tale of Whiskers and Wonder** Once upon a time, on a warm Texas morn, A dear little cat was weary and worn. She wandered the streets, round San Antonio town, With a belly quite round and her spirits down. But lo! Kind hearts at Charming Pet came near, Gave her shelter and love, wiped away every tear. 'Twas there she gave birth to her sweet kitten crew, And raised them with grace as good mothers do. Now her tale takes a turn, a new chapter awaits— No more bustling nursery, no baby debates. At just 2 or 3, she’s full of delight, With a sunny-day nap and cuddles at night. She’s gentle, she’s kind, a heart full of cheer, And not at all picky when it’s dinnertime, dear. Playful and warm, with a charm so divine, She’ll curl at your feet and make your life shine. So if you’ve a home where a queen might repose, Mother Goose will gift you love that overflows. Her nest is now empty, her job is complete— She’s looking for you, to make her life sweet. 📜 Adopt Mother Goose, and let your story begin.
