American Shorthair kittens & cats in Geneva, New York

This is Willy, he is a good-natured, fat orange cat who loves company, to play and be petted. Willy has been the companion of my parents for the last 6 years. My Dad passed away in 2019 and in January, Mom had to move to a memory care unit which doesn't permit pets. Willy has been living in our basement for the past two months. Unfortunately because we have dogs who are not used to having cats around and the fact that my wife is allergic to cats, Willy can't come upstairs. So he's very lonely and while we try to give him attention when we can, we realize we can't give him a good home here. You are most welcome to call and arrange a time to come meet him and see what you think. We're hoping to find a home for him where he will be safe, have good companionship and be able to go outside sometimes in the Spring and Summer. Queenie is a young female cat from our neighborhood. She has been posted on community sites by others no one came forward. A nieghbor brought her to humane society 2 months ago. They did note she is not chipped. They unfortunately could not take her and advised to release her as she appeared healthy. I was able to coax her to come in our porch in February. I have tried many rescues most are full or have extended waiting periods. I have an intake date that lollypop farm will take her but not until Early May. I thought i would be able to find a rescue fairly quickly. Not only am I not supposed to have pets per land lord, but my boyfriend is allergic and has had enough drugging himself with meds. She is a sweet and playful cat, a lady doesnt jump on counters, would do well in as indoor/outdoor as loves to hunt and brought lots of presents. She will snuggle under the covers or watch TV with you. Fully house trained . No accidents except the mouse she brought in my house.
