Arthur is very cuddly and affectionate 9 year old cat who was adopted at 8 weeks old along with a female cat of the same age. He has always been pretty skiddish, hiding whenever people come to visit, but incredibly cuddly and loves being on a lap. His anxiousness has increased over the last 5 years as we've moved a few times, and then when we brought home our first child. He struggled with the loss of dedicated attention and became very scared of our toddler as he grew. Arthur spends most of his days hiding under a bed from our son and then getting all of his energy out at night by running around the house. This does not feel fair to him. Additionally, he scratched our child simply for approaching him. We are expecting another child and feel that Arthur would have a better life in a home with no children where he could have all the attention and affection. He has coexisted peacefully with our other cat, however, it would probably be best if he were an only pet.

Hello, meet Baby.She is a very friendly loving cat, who loves attention and spending time with her people. She is about 10 years old. She is in good health and up to date on her shots, etc. She used to be my mom's cat, but she moved and couldn't have animals so I tried to do her a favor and take her on. Because of mine and my older children's schedule, we are not home alot. Baby gets quite lonely. She looks for her attention and we do our best to give it to her, but our lives don't allow much time for that and I don't see that changing. One of the reasons we never got a pet before, it's just not fair to them. So I am looking for a new home for her, so she will get that attention and love she needs and wants. She always uses the litter box and has no issues with that too. Our hope is we can find her a home where her new owners have the time to give to her. thank you for looking at her as a choice for your new pet.

Micha has lived a very adventurous life! She was found abandoned as a 3-week-old kitten in Kenya where her owner was living at the time. Micha then moved to Rochester, NY. Likely due to her wild beginnings (maybe she thinks she is part lion!), Micha likes to spend her time outside chasing leaves and critters and coming indoors for a snooze. Micha’s owner is now living full-time in London so we are, with heavy hearts, looking for a great new home where she can live her best outdoor/working cat life. Micha is not a very cuddly cat - she likes to be around, but not on top of, her people and prefers infrequent head scratches. She is very smart and is happiest when she has full range of outdoor areas to roam. She’s not very fancy - she eats regular dry/wet food, no health issues, and loves a cardboard box. She does get frustrated and/or overstimulated if she’s indoors with lots of strangers for too long. We love her a lot & are happy to help with the transition to her next adventure.
