Story
Pepper is a kind and sweet boy. He enjoys cuddling and pets. He is anxious and not fond of loud noises. He does not get a long with dogs, but does show interest in other cats. I do not have another cat but he has been face to face with street cats in the neighborhood, shown no signs of aggression or retreat. He usually just stares and sniffs the air. I am considering putting him up for adoption because I believe now that it would be more beneficial for him to have a cat friend. I had him for 5 years, my mom suggested I adopt from one of her coworkers giving him away for free. It was Covid, in college during lockdown. Ive never owned a pet before I adopted him. I listed busy schedule as I am working a lot, and he seems lonely, and does not play much. He is healthy and been cleared by a vet. My current circumstance is not feasible to care for an additional cat in the near future. I just want him to be in an environment where he can thrive.

Story
This is Joey! His birthday is June 25th 2024. He is a little gentleman! His favorite hobbies are playtime and staring out of windows at birds, squirrels, and people! Joey is super friendly, though he can be a little shy around new people. He warms up quickly! He likes his personal space, but will always welcome scratches on his chin and kisses on his head. Joey is very low maintenance and is content doing his own thing all day, but will not hesitate to let you know when he is hungry! He gets along well with other cats, and knows how to use the bathroom all on his own. He has never had an accident. He loves to be in whatever room you are in, even if he isn't directly interacting with you. He loves to be in your presence. Joey needs a good home and lots of love, please consider him to be a new member of your family.

Story
Meet Asteroid Asteroid was only 8 weeks old with a severe upper respiratory infection when he was found in someone’s yard. Unfortunately his finder couldn’t care for him, so he was surrendered to rescue. When he got here, he was terrified and very convinced that he was going to be hurt. Even gentle touches made him melt into a frozen puddle of terror. Asteroid has come a long way, but definitely has farther to go. He’s comfortable in the house, fully litterbox trained, loves playing with the other kittens, but he’s still very concerned about people getting close to him. He wants to love, sneaking into bed at night for secret snuggles and accepting gentle pets, but he’s still scared of being cornered. We don’t know what he went through before he was found, but with his level of fear, you always worry about the worst. Asteroid needs a quiet home to learn that people are actually nice and that snuggles are freely offered and don’t have to be secret! The first step is to complete the cat adoption application below. He’s never met a stranger, to the surprise of the guy who came to fix my dryer…This kid sat on his shoulder the whole time! He was found by someone four wheeling in a field, and his impressive lung capacity is what kept him from getting run over. Now he’s ready to start looking for his forever home! Krypton is 5 weeks old, up to date on vaccines, and is looking for a family that will let him sit on their shoulders, scratch his back, and let him make biscuits to his hearts content. Story
Blizzard was rescued from a rural shelter with her four kittens. She was TERRIFIED and they actually thought she was feral! Turns out, she was protective of her babies, scared, and overstimulated in the shelter environment. Once she made it into a foster home and had a chance to decompress, she turned out to be a sweet, affectionate, and loving girl! Blizzard has been an amazing mama. Even once her own kittens were weaned, she took on several young orphans, cleaning, snuggling, and loving them. However, her protective streak is very strong, and she has decided that other adult cats are a big no-no. Now that Blizzard’s babies have been adopted and moved on, we can find her a perfect cozy home with no other cats, where she can enjoy being the perfect queen she is! She’s still fairly young, likely around two or three years old… aka old enough to be calm and well behaved, but young enough to still be playful!
