Story
Meet Amanda! She came to us in July 2022 with her sister Katlyn after being born under a porch (mom is feral and has been fixed then returned to her neighborhood). Amanda is now an 11-month-old kitten looking for a loving family. She loves climbing on her cat tower, cuddling on her terms, and chasing the laser light. She is being fostered with other cats and dogs too. Amanda has a calm demeanor, she is always watching the shenanigans around her. She is litterbox trained, spayed, dewormed, flea and parasite-free, and FIV/FeLV negative. She will make a great addition to most families! If you are interested in adoption; DO NOT CALL, please complete an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We verify the care of past/current pets. Our goal is to have the very best home for all our dogs and cats, and therefore, we reserve the right to approve or deny an application based on what we determine is in the pet's best interest. #lovecatsforever #kittens #kitty  #rescuedisthebest #cats #catsareacommittment #rescuecat #lovecats #adopt #adoptdontshop

Story
I need to rehome Jasmine because we recently discovered that my daughter is allergic to cats. Jasmine is a very friendly, soft and a playful 5 year old. She keeps herself clean and uses the litterbox. She loves little bouncy balls and play mice. She has her claws, but I have scratching posts out for her to use. She does not sharpen her claws on the furniture. She stays inside all the time. Only leaves the house for Vet appointments. She randomly has a lazy eye, which is cute. I rescued her from a shelter in southern Indiana. She was part of a litter that was dumped on the side of the road. She is afraid of loud noises.

Story
Marty is 2.5 years old and still playful, but a real lover. He lives with two 8 year old girl cats (also need homes) and does well with both of them. He can be a bit shy at first, but loves to cuddle with humans and other cats. Never had issues with the one very small dog he's met, but does avoid the dog. He has had no issues with our now 1.5 year old son, but my son's and wife's allergies are getting to be too much with the cats. The only behavioral issue we've had is he likes to scratch at the carpet on the stairs, which I believe could be solved with a good cardboard scratcher.

Story
I have 3 cats that need new homes. My rental doesn't allow them. I thought I'd only be here a short time during my divorce, but things haven't worked out. I'm risking my family so I've had no choice but to do what I've tried to avoid and find them new homes. Dr. Pepper is probably 5 or 6 months old. We found him in the neighborhood weak and deathly skinny. It took weeks to get some weight on him and his energy up to normal. I think because he was in such dire condition when we found him he is eternally grateful because he is the absolute sweetest cat. He wants nothing more than to be held and loved. Cuddled up with one of us, occasionally rubbing against our face is his happy spot. He is also great with other cats. He is so so chill. When you pick him up he goes ragdoll on you, no cares, just happy to be held. He does have horrible breath and we have started brushing his teeth, but a vet visit would be needed. He's got a cold and is on antibiotics, I just can't afford proper care.

Story
I have 2 cats that need new homes. My rental doesn't allow them. I thought I'd only be here a short time during my divorce, but things haven't worked out. Zelda was found in my backyard with 2 siblings who, unfortunately, didn't make it. I'm not exactly sure how old she is but she's at least 9 or 10 weeks old now. She is a very spunky, playful kitten. When she's done running around the house and playing with everything she can she will be very sweet and curl up someplace soft to sleep. She's good with other cats but I'd afraid of dogs since she hasn't been around them, though she's young enough to learn dogs can be friends, too, she's just only been near a dog twice. (Ps, I know it says the listing is 4 Mos old, I'm reusing an old listing so I don't have to pay for another profile. This info is current as of 1/19/24)
