Meet Asteroid Asteroid was only 8 weeks old with a severe upper respiratory infection when he was found in someone’s yard. Unfortunately his finder couldn’t care for him, so he was surrendered to rescue. When he got here, he was terrified and very convinced that he was going to be hurt. Even gentle touches made him melt into a frozen puddle of terror. Asteroid has come a long way, but definitely has farther to go. He’s comfortable in the house, fully litterbox trained, loves playing with the other kittens, but he’s still very concerned about people getting close to him. He wants to love, sneaking into bed at night for secret snuggles and accepting gentle pets, but he’s still scared of being cornered. We don’t know what he went through before he was found, but with his level of fear, you always worry about the worst. Asteroid needs a quiet home to learn that people are actually nice and that snuggles are freely offered and don’t have to be secret! The first step is to complete the cat adoption application below. All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all needed health care before adoption is finalized. Smoke was adopted with her mother when she was less than a year old. She is very skittish, prefers a super clean litter box and loves head kisses. She grumbles when it's time to trim her nails, but wrap her in purrito fashion and she accepts her fate. She tolerates baths and needs them at least twice a year as she is lazy and doesn't bathe herself as well as a proper cat should. She likes hiding when new people are around, mostly under the couch. She's a big baby in every sense of the word. I call her my little raccoon due to the light stripes she has on her tail. She is used to getting fed 1/4 cup of food at 2pm or 3pm every day. Any variety of the Purina One dry kibble and whatever wet food is cheapest. She knows how to sit pretty if you hold a treat above her head, but prefers to take treats from an open palm or the floor and hates taking pills.

Please share this or help me find him a home!!We adopted him from the Norfolk SPCA in 2020 when he was just 7 weeks old, and he has been filling our home with love ever since. His favorite things in life are people, attention, tummy rubs, and treats. If you’re looking for a cat that hides all day, that’s not him. He wants to be where you are and be part of the family.He has a gentle, affectionate personality and wonderful manners. Whether he’s greeting you at the door, following you around the house, or stretching out for belly rubs, he has a way of making everyone feel loved.

Rhino is a sweet, loving cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He enjoys attention, relaxing in cozy spots, and spending time around people. Rhino is curious, playful, and always ready to brighten someone’s day with his unique charm. He would do best in a home that can give him the time, care, and love he deserves. Rehoming him is not an easy decision, but my goal is to find him a safe, caring family where he can thrive and be loved for years to come.

​Roxy was my first cat, and she has been a loyal, comforting presence for years. She is an older gal who loves the simple pleasures in life: curling up into a perfect little circle on a soft blanket, keeping you company while you read or relax, and lounging like royalty. ​She isn't a high-energy kitten scratching up the curtains; she’s a seasoned companion who just wants a quiet, predictable home where she can take long, uninterrupted naps. But don't let her senior status fool you—she still has a playful side! Her absolute favorite thing is playing with a fish on a string wand toy. If you wave that around, you'll see her eyes light up and her inner kitten come right back out. ​Because Roxy is a senior, she does require a little extra care and attention to keep her feeling her best. She would thrive most in a low-stress, quiet household—ideally with someone who understands and appreciates the beauty of senior cats. If you have a calm corner, a soft pillow, and a lot of love to give.
