Lima is the sweetest boy you could ever meet. He is good with other cats and small animals he don’t even bat an eye at! He has so much love to give out and is so beautiful. Lima like his brother boots has had every test under the sun and all come back negative for anything. He mainly just sneezes a lot but is otherwise fine. If you can get past his sneezes he is so sweet and loving!

Story
Tucker is a great cat. He gets along well with my 3 dogs yet doesn't with 2 female cats we rescued. This is why we need to find him a home asap. He is very independent, likes to be where you are, loves the bathroom sink, and looking out the windows. He also loves a little milk when my husband has his cereal! I've been trying to rehome him for a year now. I would rather him go directly to a home than to the shelter first.

Story
Sassy is a 4 year spayed female. She likes to play with toys like laser pointers, wand toys and soft toys. She talks when she is playing. This can happen during the night as well but is not a disturbance. She enjoys catnip. She is friendly and likes cuddles once she get to know you. She was a neighborhood stray that was running the streets with her sister. Due to layoff and not being able to get full time work, I am having to find homes for her and her sister, Freya. Ideally, it would be nice if they could be adopted together but but they can be adapted separately to loving homes.

Story
Freya is a 4 year spayed female all black cat. Once she gets to know you, she likes to talk and ask for cuddles and jump on your lap. She is an avid climber, and like to be in the open window and bird watch. She likes toys especially laser pointers and soft toys. She enjoys catnip and will play with her sister Sassy (also available for adoption). She was a neighborhood stray that was running the streets with her sister. Since I have been laid off and have not been able to find full time work, I am looking for a home for her and her sister (Sassy). It would be good if they could be adopted together since they have been a pair for a long as I can tell but they can be adapted separately to loving homes.

Story
We got cheese from a friend when he was 7 weeks old, he is currently 10 months old and turns 1 on July 29,2024. We would love if cheese goes to a loving home and preferably one without dogs since he is not great with them. Cheese loves to roam around and be left alone unless he comes up to you, he loves rubs and cuddles but it has to be on his terms!

Story
Winnie & Salem are 8 week old kitten. They were born under a neighbors house but the last few weeks have been staying with us to work on acclimating them to people. Both are fully litter box trained and has been around other cats with no problems. Both of their parents, despite being strays are very good natured and friendly cats so I suspect with some time and love they will be too. They do not have to go together, but get along brilliantly so if you want two consider taking both. Winnie is the biggest. She is kind of shy but really comes out of her shell when other cats are around. She does enjoy being pet in small doses and I suspect she will come out of her shell even more for someone who can spend one on one time with her. Salem is smaller, but don't let his size fool you he is the bolder of the two. He is very playful, but somewhat suspicious of people. He already crawls in my lap though and wants love. I am not very good at sexing kittens, so their genders may be incorrect.

Story
We live in Guilford County and we have found precious, declawed (both front &back) friendly, tortoiseshell, sweet cat who has been hanging around our house for 2 months. When we go on long walks she follows us around like a puppy dog. When she runs up to us sometimes she makes “trill”-purring sounds. Her original name was “Charlie.” We would love to adopt her, but our rabbits are scared of her and stomp. My phone # is (xxx) xxx-xxxx . We have posted this found cat story on the NextDoor Neighbors App and on my Facebook page. The Stokesdale Vet said her microchip had an Ohio area code phone number and when they finally got in touch with “original” owner (currently living in Ohio) they said they actually rehomed “Charlie” to a new owner and they claimed they had no way of contacting this new owner. 😢 Our 7 rabbits (being prey animals) are scared of her so unfortunately we can’t ke
