Mab and I met just this January after the loss of my dog, Freya. We became unlikely roommates. I am not a cat person but was not ready for a dog. I’m still not a cat person, but I am a Mab person. She has won my heart. Sure she is great because she’s housebroken. She’s chill but likes to cuddle. She learns boundaries real fast and easily. She just understands. She hasn’t clawed up ANYTHING. She doesn’t jump on anything other than the couch and the bed and the dining chairs. Never the counters or table. It will take a while before she lets you rub her belly. She is 3 years old and was a neighborhood cat that was rescued when the weather turned bad. It really is breaking my heart to say goodbye. But I’ve recently lost my job and need to move in with my brother. This is my last option for her to go to a good, loving, spoiling home. She has an auto feeder, toys, scratching post, tunnels. Of course her litter box and whatever food and litter I have left. Queen Mab really perfect.

I got my pet 14 years ago from a shelter. She has been a wonderful cat. Very friendly and entertains herself. However, I took in two other strays and I now have to move into an apartment where I am only allowed two cats. My other two are bonded and she never liked the other two. After the other elderly cat died that I had, she tolerates these but never really accepted them. I cannot find housing that will accept three cats. I am looking for a person who really just wants a one cat household and wants or needs a laid back senior cat who still likes to play. She will entertain herself though if you are busy. We adopted Mabel for my daughter 4 and a half years ago as a kitten. She has been a very good cat but since adopting my daughter went to college and since coming home we have realized she is pretty allergic to the cat. My middle son is very allergic and we were trying to keep her until my daughter finished college and moved out.
