Story
Please adopt our adorable 9 year old spotted tabby, polydactyl cat. She is declawed in the front and has 5 toes on each paw giving her mittens. Very friendly and loving of dogs, cats, and adults (see lap cat photos!) She has always been very attached to me (mom) and got extremely jealous when we started a family. Our toddler has stressed her out and made her territorial of me when small children are around. Unfortunately rehoming her due to this behavior, otherwise we would happily keep her as she’s a nice cat. Free to a good home, preferably with older kids or child free. We are in central Ohio

Story
Meet Roadrash and Burnout, two brave little sisters with hearts as big as their story. These fluffy girls were cruelly tossed from a car into a ditch, but their spirits refused to break. Rescued and safe now, they’ve traded fear for purrs and cuddles, proving just how resilient love can be. They are gentle, grateful, and deeply bonded — ready to find a forever home where they’ll only ever know kindness. Roadrash had a degloved chin surgically repaired when this little survivor was just 4 weeks old, and her slight imperfection makes her absolutely perfect. Both girls had banged up knees and elbows, and thankfully are all healed up. Each has a $125 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at -www.whiskersofohio.org - please note that the "I'm interested" tab on Petfinder does NOT act as an application, this should only be used for specific questions before committing to an adoption. You will receive an email confirmation when your application goes through. We make no breed guarantees; we are a rescue, not a breeder. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered, volunteer run 501c3 non-profit organization. Free transport is regularly available to Wayne/Holmes County areas! We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.

Story
Oliver was found as a kitten outside of my job and was Temporarily supposed to be placed in my home until another home was found(that obviously never happened), she has been a fairly good and energetic cat for me and my 5 year old but I just brought home a new baby and she doesn’t quite understand that the baby is not a toy. Instead of locking her up and affecting her quality of life I think it would be better for everyone if we found her a new home where she can be herself :) she’s also a great hunter lol!

Story
We've recently moved into a new home with a new kitten. We've always had dogs, and they have not been a problem but the new changes have been too much. Chaka needs a loving home where she is the kitty in charge.
