American Shorthair kittens & cats in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania

We are looking for a home for our Peanut. He is a rescue we took in several years ago. Peanut will be a great companion and lap warmer for someone who doesn't already have any other animals. He is an indoor, friendly, affectionate guy, about 5 years old. Unfortunately, he has started not getting along with one of our other cats and would be best in a place where he is the only cat. He has had all shots, neutered, and microchipped. He has no health issues except that he has lost most of his teeth, except his canines, but he has no problem with soft food and small nuggets. His tooth loss was related to a health issue that started before he was rescued. Our vet diagnosed and treated his condition, and it is no longer a problem. If you're looking for a loving companion, please help us. (We don't know how he would be with dogs since we have not had any during the 3 years he has been with us.)Adoption fee will be forwarded to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter

HARDY (AKA MAHJONG) IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is Hardy. He gets along great with everyone and other cats. He would do great  with a fun outgoing buddy to play with. Has been around dogs, but is shy of them. He is slightly shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he loves to be petted and snuggled with.  He is gentle but would be skittish around children or high/loud activity.  He loves to zoom to the highest cat tree tops and to watch the fish in the fish-tank. He has a very loud purr machine.  He would also be great if adopted with his sister, Laurel, but they are not bonded so they could go separately. He is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.   The adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport up north.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring him up north once he is adopted.
