Meet Cosmo! Cosmo is a 10-month-old black American shorthair. He is vaccinated and neutered. Cosmo is your low-maintenance and independent cat! He is not the type to lavish you with affection at first, but once he feels comfortable with you, he's attached to your feet! He may not be the most welcoming with newcomers, but his bravery and independent spirit are admired by many. That being said, he has been making excellent progress and has been wanting more attention than usual as of recently. Cosmo gets along great with other cats; he always approaches his pals with his curious and friendly nature. Our kitty is still adjusting to shelter life; Cosmo may still be unsure of people, but he has come a long way for a stray kitten. Story
Meet Mirage! Mirage is a 2-year-old grey/white American shorthair. She is vaccinated and spayed. Mirage is a busy girl; when she's not rushing to staff for petting sessions, greeting the public, and managing the shelter in her own way, she loves to unwind by watching the world from her chosen perch. Mirage is a kitty with a distinct personality. She is simply the queen of her own world; she would be best on her own, as she loves to be the center of attention and is not fond of other cats. However, Mirage is fiercely loyal, and once you've earned her trust, she'll be your faithful companion. Mirage is a cat that cherishes her solitude greatly, making her an ideal pet for a peaceful household. She is not the type to demand constant attention at first, but once she gets that one-on-one time with you, it would make a world of difference. Mirage is an absolute angel when you get to know her to her core. Want to win her heart? She would love scratches under the chin and some quality time with you. Adopting Mirage means welcoming a self-reliant and loyal friend who will rule YOUR heart!

Story
Meet Chestnut! Chestnut is a nearly 2-year-old American Shorthair. He is vaccinated and neutered. Despite being an adult, his tiny size might fool you into thinking he's still a kitten. Chestnut's days are spent quietly observing the world around him. He can be very shy, preferring quiet corners and soft whispers to boisterous noise. He has not yet been introduced to other cats. Chestnut enjoys the simple pleasures; he doesn't demand much, just a little love. He's the perfect friend for someone who appreciates the softer side of life. Chestnut was first found in a very skinny state, but with love and care, he's slowly regaining his strength. Chestnut's been doing his best to adjust to shelter life. It's a new environment for him, and he is understandably scared. He is slowly warming up to shelter staff. He likes the soft brush of a hand and will gently nudge his head as his way of saying, "I trust you." Chestnut's timid demeanor hides a heart full of love, and he's just waiting to find that patient and understanding someone. Adopting Chestnut means giving him the chance to blossom in a loving home where he can truly feel safe and loved.
