Story
Henry is approximately 7 months old. He is bonded with his brother, Howard. Henry is neutered, his shots are current, he's chipped, and he's on flea meds. He is a spunky, adventurous, cuddly little orangie. He takes on my big cats frequently to play and is an absolute toy hog. He comes crashing in to play and be the center of attention. He has shown no aggression, only overexcitement. He loves pets and to be held like a baby. He purrs loudly all the time. He is an avid explorer but sometimes needs gentle reminding when he's adventuring out of bounds. He's fully liter box trained and eats a diet of both wet and dry food. He's highly treat motivated. He's the sweetest little man and needs to go to a home with his brother, Howard, to have as a companion. Anyone would be lucky to have them join their family.

Story
Howard is approximately 7 months old. He is bonded with his brother, Henry. Howard was taken for neuter, but he has an undescended testicle. His shots are current, he's chipped, and on flea meds. He is equal parts chill and adventurous. He's an intrepid explorer, unafraid to get in a bit of mischief along the way. He loves to play and cuddle with his mama, brother Henry, and foster siblings. Currently his favorite style of play is climbing and playing king of the mountain, but we're working on climbing in appropriate places. He gets along well with my big cats, and has been put in his place by my little dog, but he always get back up. He's fully liter box trained and eats a diet of both wet and dry food. He's such a good little man. He needs to go to a home with his brother, Henry, as a companion. He's a sweet man that loves pets, and has started cuddling with me on the couch.

Story
Bean is a 6 month old black cat. He adjusted very well to us and we've only had him for about 3 months. He loves to cuddle with you at night and during his naps. He is very curious. He is not aggressive whatsoever, he has never hissed, bit, or scratched on purpose. He loves to play and sometimes he will accidentally get you with his paws but nothing ever serious. He gets his zooms and likes to run around the house. He is fully litter box trained and is used to an active household. He knows not to go on countertops but is still learning since he is so young. He is vocal when he is hungry but other than that he is quiet and will just mostly follow you around. He is used to being left alone while we are at class so he doesn't have too much of an attachment issue. He naps alot during the day. As college students, we are not equipt to take care of this little man for the next 3 years we are in school. He is a loving, intelligent, gentle, curious, funny kitten!

Story
Providence is a young beauty who was found wandering along a busy road and brought to safety just in time. Her short, round face gives her an extra-adorable look — we suspect she may be a British Shorthair mix or another purebred blend, though we can’t say for certain. What we can say is that she’s absolutely precious. At first, Providence can be easily startled and tends to hide when things feel loud or unpredictable. She’ll thrive best in a calm, quiet home where she can feel secure and take her time settling in. She is also a little bit of a diva and prefers a home without other cats. But once she realizes she’s safe? She transforms. In a peaceful environment, Providence blossoms into a nonstop purr machine and a playful little sprite who adores every toy you offer. Feather wand? Yes please. Crinkle ball? Her favorite. She’s even patient enough to humor you with cute little outfits! If you’re looking for a gentle, soft-hearted cat who just needs a serene space to show her true personality, Providence will reward your patience tenfold. Give this sweet girl the peaceful home she deserves, and she’ll fill it with purrs, play, and endless charm. Providence is currently located at our cat Sanctuary in Ravenel while she waits for an open spot to go up for adoption- she is available for meet and greets by appointment. Please email cbrugge@charlestonanimalsociety.org to set up an appointment to meet her!
