We recently took in a pregnant stray who was abandoned by our neighbors. She had 4 kittens. Luckily we have found homes for all but one! She is about 7 months old now and looking for a loving forever home.

We took Nigel in from a co-worker who found him in the barn (he’s 5 years old). He got along great with our GSP and our kids (young and teen). He is super soft and loves to sleep curled up around your knees. He loves to play with a cat laser but is not a fan of cat trees or scratching posts (none that we’ve found anyway). He does have UTI issues and needs to be on a prescription diet. Honestly- we just want him to find a home that can continue to take care of his dietary needs and who can play with and love him. He’s up to date on everything we just can’t afford to keep him after becoming a single income home last month. We will supply whatever food we have left as well as any unopened kitty litter and one of his toys he likes.

Story
Say hello to Anna, a 8 year old American shorthair and very independent lady. She was abandoned by her last owner I was renting an apartment to and he just left her there. Anna is a small girl and make an excellent computer companion as one of her favorite places to be is sitting on my mouse pad while I play games, she will make comments about your choices lol. Anna doesn’t like playing with other animals, she’s perfectly happy playing with small mice toys, twist ties, and some string toys. Vary sweet with people that are patient and willing to learn her rules. As I said earlier Anna doesn’t like other animals getting near her starting with growling then hissing and running away if she’s able to. She rarely swats at other animals only if she’s able feel cornered. I’ve had a few instances where my animals play fighting chassis her to far she has screamed at them. Now Anna is looking for a new forever home with a loving and patient support she’ll be a wonderful addition to your family.

I’m looking for a loving, permanent home for my young female American Shorthair. She is a beautiful, intelligent cat who enjoys affection and companionship once she feels comfortable and secure. She would do best with a patient, experienced cat owner who can give her time to adjust and respect her boundaries, particularly with handling or giving medication, which can make her anxious and defensive. I want to be transparent so that she is placed in a home that is truly a good fit for her. My priority is finding someone who will provide her with a safe, stable, caring environment where she can settle in and thrive.
