Story
The final of our fire wood babies settling in. They’re slowly acclimating to people but having caught them a day later it’s only been a couple days. They’re already not running just from me being in the room and warming up to the idea of pets. As with all the other babies if you end up wanting more than one there’s only one adoption fee. I have zero doubt they’ll end up fine in a house with multiple pets or children

Story
Shine enjoys being petted and purrs loudly. Once she knows you, she will run to the door to be petted. She’s playful, loves toys, and especially enjoys hunting down small treats tossed her way. She also loves scratching posts. Shine is all black with a little white spot on her chest and belly. She will quickly become a loving companion in your life. Shine is one of 3 young stay female cats from our neighborhood, spayed them & got their rabies shot, and now they need a loving home! These sweet girls are all under a year old & have been together since birth. They have not been around other pets, only each other. They are familiar with people but are still adjusting to indoor life. They use the litter box with no issues, and they’ve had their rabies shots. They can be shy with new people, but friendly, and with a patient, quiet home, they will be loyal and loving pets. They would do best in a calm environment, especially Sassafras, who would thrive if adopted with one of her sisters.

Story
My daughter and her husband fostered a litter for a pet rescue in Huntsville, around 10 years ago. Two of the kittens and the mom cat were adopted thru PetSmart. The two that we still have were so shy/feral that my daughter thought they were unadoptable, so she and her husband kept them. The cats spend their time under a couch or bed when guests are in the house. My daughter died a few years ago, and now her husband has problems and can no longer care for the cats. I would like to rehome them, or possibly they might become working cats, though they have never been outdoors. My only alternative is to have them both put down, and I hope I won't have to do that. Thanks very much for whatever help or advice you can give. Alma K
