Story
Cher is a gentle, affectionate 11-year-old kitty looking for her true forever home. She has been rehomed through no fault of her own and deserves a calm, stable environment where she can feel safe and secure. She previously lived with dogs and another cat. The home she was in before had dogs who were aggressive towards her. Despite this, her reaction to calmer dogs is to mostly stay out of their way and hide until she feels safe. She has been declawed and this causes her to be a little shy to new spaces and especially to new animals. She is incredibly friendly, loves to cuddle, and is very clean and easy to care for—an ideal companion for a first-time cat owner or anyone seeking a low-key, loving pet.Cher has recently had a full blood panel and is up to date on her vaccinations. She is currently being fostered while we search for the right match. Due to allergies and health concerns, her foster cannot keep her long-term.

Story
My neighbor alerted me to this stray kitten that had been hanging around on her porch and had had a litter of kittens some time ago. She thought she was pregnant again, but after a couple of months in rescue she was not. Mandy is very vocal with her expressions when she is hungry or just needs reassurance that someone loves her. She was already tamed and my neighbor was able to just hand her to me. She likes other cats and does well but pretty independent. She is much neater now than she was at first with learning her litter box. She no longer kicks the litter out of the box or lays in it any more. She would make an excellent friend for someone weather they stay home a lot or not. She like being inside in her room or in her big cage.

Story
This is PeeWee, a lovely small classic female kitty who was born around 6/28/2023.  She is a bit shy and reserved, but loves to roll over for a belly rub She loves NAPS under the covers.  She loves to be petted while on your lap.  The perfect work-from-home companion kitty.  She loves to play and loves all cat toys and is definitely loads of fun. She could probably be a single kitty, but would also do well with a friendly low-key kitty.  She has never been around dogs and is not recommended for a dog home. She is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.   If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. Story
This is Hardy. He gets along great with everyone and other cats. He would do great  with a fun outgoing buddy to play with. Has been around dogs, but is shy of them. He is slightly shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he loves to be petted and snuggled with.  He is gentle but would be skittish around children or high/loud activity.  He loves to zoom to the highest cat tree tops and to watch the fish in the fish-tank. He has a very loud purr machine. He is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.   If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. Story
Mulligan is a stunning one-year-old cat with a personality just as beautiful as his looks. This charming boy knows how to enjoy the good life—whether he’s lounging in his favorite recliner after a big meal or keeping a watchful eye on things while you work at your desk. He’s a curious and playful companion who loves to “help” with whatever you’re doing, especially if there’s a pen involved! When playtime winds down, Mulligan is all about affection. He’s a total sweetheart who loves to snuggle, give kisses, and show his happiness with loud purrs and plenty of biscuit-making. Mulligan is also wonderfully social and gets along well with other cats. He would truly thrive in a home where he has a feline friend (or two!) to keep him company. If you’re looking for a loving, fun, and easygoing companion who will make you smile every day, Mulligan might just be your perfect match.  He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all cat vaccinations. His adoption fee is $150.    If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Mulligan here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 9, 2026, 6:38 pm
