Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter,
Story
just over six weeks, was rescued from a trash pile near our barn. very cute, lively, strong and playful, however has little to no use of its hind legs(vet could find no obvious cause of lameness) and has a little potty issue, usually going right after turn out (I keep it in a kennel cage when not able to supervise it as it is adventurous) My older cat hates it, and my dog seems ok with it. she is surprisingly fast and agile even able to climb, but lack of ability to stand on hind legs means it needs cleaning once or twice a day and can't be left to roam loose all day. I just don't have time or room for it with its special needs.

Story
Bear is black with a little white on his neck. He is the only kitten we could not rehome when the mom, Kitty Kitty, had her last litter about a year ago. He likes to play. He gets on the furniture and the counter. He is very relaxed when we pick him up. He is not really a snuggler but does like to be close to his human. He does not bite or scratch us. He and Kitty Kitty stay in our small half bathroom because we also have 2 small dogs and have to keep them separated. I would love for someone to want them both and have more room for them.

Story
Hello, I'm Gypsy. I've got a mind of my own, a quick wit, and a bit of sass to boot. I'm no kitten, but age has only sharpened my intelligence. I prefer a quiet corner to observe the world around me. I may not always want a cuddle, but when I do, I'll make sure it's worth your while. I'm not just a pet, I'm a companion. If you're looking for a friend who respects your space, yet enjoys intellectual conversation, I'm your girl. I'd love to bring my unique personality to your home.

Story
Hello there, I'm Mercury! I'm just a young guy, full of energy and love to share. My days are spent exploring my surroundings, playing with toys, and taking long, luxurious naps. I'm a friendly sort, always eager to greet new friends with a purr and a nuzzle. Cuddling? Oh, I'm a champion at that! I've been told I give the best snuggles around. My favorite time of day is when I get to curl up with someone and purr the hours away. I promise to bring sweetness and warmth into your life. I may be small, but my heart is huge. I'm ready to find a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. Could that home be with you?

Story
Do you have a barn or large property? Do you have a vermin problem? Well then come on down to Galveston Island Humane Society where we have kitties looking for work. These feisty felines came into our TNR program to get spayed and or neutered, ear tipped, and up to date on all vaccines. Unfortunately, the places they were found are not safe for them to be returned to and they have a bit too much personality to be adopted out safely. These hard workers need a location that will provide a safe shelter and reliable food in case they are too good at they’re job. Available NOW!!
