Story
Oliver Twist is a stray cat who showed up (and moved in!) to my backyard several weeks ago. This cute guy will do especially well as a barn or farm cat to anyone ready to add another kitty to their outdoor menagerie. He likes to rub up against people and has been completely placid toward my pet cats and my (human) children, when they have happened to encounter each other. Oliver will beg for food and attention, is affectionate, and seems to really want a place and people to belong with! I was able to get him to my vet last week, where they verified Oliver Twist is unchipped. He tested negative for leukemia and hiv/aids; he was also neutered, vaccinated, and ear-tipped. They estimated his age as 2 years old. He is completely ready to go! Important to note, this kitty has not been tested indoors! (My house is already a circus!) He clearly is socialized and needs a family, but will probably do better in an outside environment.

Story
This is Diva. She is a gray tabby kitten we captured while trying to capture the other female cats we are trying to spay. Her birthday is August 11, 2025. Her personality is tun but shy. As of writing this we've had her for 2 months now and she's grown a lot. She still in her skittish phase but is out growing it as time goes by. She excellent with other cats and dogs but has never been around children and will probably not like children. She will need to get spayed very soon. Overall, she's a happy and healthy girl and loves to play with all sorts of toys and with her brothers. As we continue to desensitize her I would like her to find a forever home until she's ready. She's still so young and needs a forever home. Please Imk it yall have any questions.

Story
Maggie Moo (Moo Moo) was abandoned on the side of a highway at just 4 weeks old in December of 2018. I took her in, bottle fed her and raised her. She’s definitely a “spicy” cat! She only accepts attention on her own terms. She is content to sit and look outside a window all day but will leave her spot to beg for food. She has always lived with dogs - but prefers small dogs or dogs who will leave her alone. She has never lived with cats. She’s traveled across the country with me on multiple occasions. She just needs a little something to ease her anxiety! Heartbreakingly, she is not child friendly.

Story
Bella came to our backyard with 3 kittens in May 2025. The cat with kitten stayed a few days and left only to return a few days later alone. She looked distressed and wanted my attention on a matter which I guess in retrospect was asking for help to get her babies back. From my observation she was a great mama. As i saw her in our patio night after night , I decided to take her to vet get her spayed, vaccinated and checked. I was told she is 1 year old at that time in June 2025 by now 1 and half year old very healthy. I took care of her after surgery and set her outside with a catio. In any case, looking for a good home for her as my son has severe allergies and these days some other cats keep wanting to attack her and I keep getting up in the middle of the night to help her. Looking for a home where she feels safe as right now I keep her in the patio and other cats are constantly scaring her. She is friendly, very loving, clever, playful, takes direciton well, patient, caring

Story
Hello, this is the beautiful Mushu whom we love. Sadly, due to a move, we must find a new home for him and his beautiful younger brother Milo. Please consider taking them both, as we know that if they are separated, they could become ill, and that is the last thing we want. They are beautiful and unique, and believe me, they will bring joy to your life. Please help us find them a home. By the way, they have two automatic litter boxes that we would like to give you along with them for their convenience and yours.

Story
MELTS IN YOUR ARMS WHEN YOU HUG HIM  DOB 8/1/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Hermes, a friendly, loving, and easygoing solid-white fella except for the gray thumbprints on the crown of my head. My big gold-coin eyes half-close in ecstasy and I melt in Foster Meowmy’s arms when she holds and hugs me. I trust her so much that I roll over to invite her to give me the gentle belly rubs that I enjoy so much. I’m the largest of my litter, so I’m a big eater who doesn’t even mind when she pets me while I’m dining. I run up to greet her when she opens the door because I know that playtime will begin soon. I’m not particular about toys because they’re all fun as far as I’m concerned. I even find it entertaining when Foster Meowmy scoops the litter box, and I try to be her little helper. My feral-kitty momma birthed my #charming-four litter (Ash, Caramel, Humphrey, and me) inside of Foster Meowmy’s garage. We lived outside until we were ready to be weaned, and Foster Meowmy noticed that I always was the kind, brave Big Brother who protected my smaller siblings while momma was out hunting. When Foster Meowmy trapped/ spayed/ and released Momma, she brought us kittens inside to the safe haven of her home and promised to find us fantastic forever homes. Now I’m ready to share my joy, humor, and affection with my forever family. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today! My heart has SO MUCH love to give – all I need is YOU! If you’re looking to adopt a “matched pair,” consider adopting me with my twin sister Ash. (She even has the gray thumbprints on her head too!) Although we’re available separately, we think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 25-0329-C021 Hermes' $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Hermes will be this week-end, email us at nancy.e.kline@hotmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you.
