They thought she was gone. She was lying in the middle of the road in Bandera, Texas—cold, tiny, and lifeless. The shelter staff who stopped thought they were too late... but Wednesday surprised them. She was still breathing. Because they couldn’t care for neonatal kittens, they called us at Animal Rescue and Rehab of Comfort—and we answered. Around-the-clock feedings every two hours, vet visits, antibiotics, eye meds, and more love than you can imagine brought this tiny fighter back from the edge. Now Wednesday is a happy, healthy, 9-week-old kitten who loves to explore, pounce, and curl up for snuggles.
