Lyla LOVES snuggling. She will curl up right in your lap or right in front of you in bed and fall asleep. She loves attention, and sometimes she has her claws out because she gets excited. She doesn’t scratch, but she does put them out. She also loves to be picked up and she will give hugs if you pat your chest. She’s great with kids, dogs, and other cats.

Story
If you are in the same room with Ophelia, she is in your lap purring loudly. She turns into a little velociraptor around other cats…we attempted for 3 months to socialize her with our other cats when our friend needed to rehome Ophelia, but it is not possible. This cat is awesome for someone who is home a lot and wants a cat who will happily receive constant attention and prefers to be sitting in a human’s lap. She is an absolute dear and we love her but after three months living in a large room away from our other two cats, it is clear she will never be reconciled to sharing space and she shouldn’t be cooped up. She loves to sit on the window sill by an open window, and does seem to get along with the outdoor cats through the window screen. :) She will go to her new home with her food dishes, her litter box, litter box liners, litter, a big bag of food, her bed, her toys and cat treats.
