Story
Smokey was adopted from a previous family back in Texas. She is normally a very sweet cat, but a bit anti-social. She is scared of new people, initially, and takes a while to warm up to a stranger. She is very clean, almost never has hairballs, and is housetrained. She is very particular about her food and treats, and prefers cans of wet cat food with seafood flavors. She is also a fan of Blue brand cat treats. She has a very soft purr that can barely be heard, even when she is sitting on your chest (she likes being petted when you fall asleep). She enjoys climbing furniture, perching on the mantle, and occasionally jumping on your back/shoulder and riding you around the house (we call it Cat Taxi). We ask that she goes to a home without other pets, as she has become very agitated with being around our other cats (especially after they grew larger than her). We also ask that she not be declawed or be an outdoor cat. She has always been an indoor cat.

Story
I found Arlo on the streets in late 2021, when he was about a year old. He was covered in powdered charcoal and fleas. He was very sweet and just hopped into my car. He is on a special diet due to past UTI issues and has since been an inside cat only. Since then, he has developed some aggressively playful behaviors. He will rub up on your legs, but once you lean down to pet him, he scratches you. He is not a feral/mean cat by any means, he just gets overstimulated very easily. Since the day I brought him home, he has been doing this. He has also been known to nip at hands and ankles. This has been a very difficult decision to make, but since my mom was recently diagnosed with cancer, it is very important that she not get nipped or scratched by Arlo. He is a good cat that just needs the right home. I am gone majority of the time, so I think he's rather lonely. He does very well with dogs, but he has never been around other cats since I've had him.

Meet Mama: The Original Dancing Queen Mama is a beautiful and resilient soul who has spent her life navigating the world as a semi-feral outdoor girl. For the past year, she has been a tireless mother, raising over four litters of kittens. She is a true survivor, but after all her hard work, she is ready to hang up her "mom" hat and find a peaceful place to land. Our Dream for Her: We are looking for a special person, a patient farm, or a cozy garden home where Mama can finally be spayed and live a life free from the cycle of constant pregnancies. She deserves to finally be the one who is taken care of! Things to Know: A Package Deal: Mama is currently expecting again. We are looking for an adopter with a big heart who is willing to care for her and her upcoming litter of kittens. She is semi feral
