Story
Waffles is a kind and gentle soul that is looking for a quiet environment to call home. She loves playing with feathers on strings in between snoozin' and treats. She is very loving and chatty as well, and will weave between your legs for some pets. She does not do well with more dominant cats in a household as she gets scared and reclusive.

Story
I received my cat when he was 2 months. I trained him and he knows how to sit and spin on command. He’s a fun, active boy — but loves his down time. I can no longer take care of him, so I want to give him a loving family who can provide what I can’t. Upon adoption you will receive all his belongings if desired.

Story
Oreo is a female cat who loves pets, cuddles, and scratches behind her ears. She is in need of a new home because her owner suddenly passed away. She is spayed and loves her toys. She is bonded to another cat named Bubba and it is my hope that both cats can be adopted together. She loves rice pudding and vanilla pudding and can be quite insistent about having a taste of yours.

Story
Meet Maggie! Maggie was found living in the neighborhood but shows signs of having previously been a family cat. She absolutely adores people and would love to be someone’s forever couch buddy! We have helped Maggie to get back to great health, with all shots up to date and confirmed FEV/FELV negative. We currently have another cat who will not tolerate other cats, so we must sadly find this sweet, sweet girl a new home. She may be better off without other cats.

Story
Meet Piadora! When Pia's owner, who rescued her from the streets of Oakland, passed away last year, she was left with nowhere to go. Over the past 5 months in foster, she's come a long way. At the beginning, Pia would hide in the deepest parts of her foster home, only venturing out at night or to eat. Lots of trust-building and slow socialization has brought her out of her shell and into the open. Though she is still wary of some strangers and loud noises, she warms up quickly and even runs to the door when she sees her fosters approaching. She loves to come into the bedroom in the morning to cuddle and lay on her fosters' chests and gives kisses and head nudges to anyone who is kind to her. Like a lot of cats, she wants to be picked up on her own terms and will gently let you know when it's too much. Pia, being a senior kitty, is pretty relaxed... until her catnip banana toy comes out and her playfulness shows! Important to note: Pia had stomatitis some time ago and she came into foster with no teeth. Her fosters only feed her wet food but could be introduced to dry food. She was also diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. With medication, her thyroid levels have moved into normal range and can easily be managed. Piadora is around 7.5 years old, spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV/FeLV negative.

Story
Cooper is a sweet and affectionate, DEAF, approx. 1 year old boy. He loves us humans but not his own kind so he needs to be the only cat. He seems more comfortable with our dog but since he's been kept mostly separate it hasn't been tested enough to know for sure. If he got along with the rest of our gang we would keep him forever, but sadly he doesn't, so we need to find him a better situation than we can provide. Cooper tested negative for Feline Leukemia and AIDS. He has a small cloudy spot on his right eye, probably from some past trauma, but it doesn't seem to bother him or affect his vision. Cooper must have had a rough kitten-hood and he now deserves a comfortable and happy life. He greets us with excitement and joy. He is fun to play with and his ability to catch little fuzzy balls out of the air is pretty impressive. It's easy to forget that he is deaf because he acts like any other cat except he's not afraid of the vacuum cleaner and you can sneak up on him more easily.
