This is probably going to be one of the hardest post that I have to make. This is Karter. He is 7yrs old and very much still full of life. He is great with kids and very friendly. Unfortunately, I'm looking to rehome him. I've finally come to grips that I need to get him with a family that can give him a better life than I can at this moment. I truly want him to be in a space where he can just be Karter and run around and play and feel the wind beneath his fur. I currently don't have the time and as a mom of a 16 month old I also don't have the energy because I give the last of it to my baby. So all in all, my hope is to find someone who has the space for him to be able to run around, as he loves to do, be goofy and playful. Where he can have unlimited supply of toys and snacks. Blue is an American Staffy mix. We got him as 8 week puppy in Dec 2025 from Craigslist. We were told he was a yellow lab/ Australian shepherd mix. DNA proved he is not. He loves chasing balls, playing w r mini Australian Shepherd, riding in car. We have a new grandbaby that he is unsure about. Our son and DIL r not fond of Blue, due to size and unpredictability. I just had 2 hip replacements and my husband has health issues. He is a pretty strong dog. We want him to go to a good home. We have an electric fence which he has learned his boundaries. He is crate-trained. He wants to cuddle, because he thinks he is a small dog, like r mini shepherd. A dog with older children and a yard would be great.
