Story
Calvin is hoping Christmas comes early for him this year and he finally finds his forever home Cal was found as a stray in an extremely rural part of the state and wound up in a completely outdoor animal control with just seven kennels to work with. He was at risk for euthanasia numerous times before we were finally able to step in and help, when a trusted volunteer picked him up for us in July, after having spent roughly two months fighting for his life. As November comes to a close, we just can’t believe this playful, sweet boy is still looking for his humans. Our hearts break at the thought that Calvin has spent over half his young life homeless Cal is about a year and a half old and such a good size at 45-50 pounds. He spends his days playing with all his doggy friends, but his nights all alone in boarding. Calvin is equal parts snuggle buddy and adventure partner, he is wildly dog friendly, great in the car, loves all people big and small, and is even house trained! He struggles with seperation anxiety but who can blame him for not wanting to be alone when that’s all he’s ever known? Cal is looking for a family that can show him that they will always come back - that can show him patience and grace as he learns that being alone is no longer his normal. Can’t adopt? Consider fostering this holiday season Moving into a foster home would give Calvin the stability and guidence that he needs to tackle his separation anxiety AND make space for the next dog at risk. Fostering really does save lives, y’all December 14, 2025, 7:54 am

Story
Hello! This is Nala. She was born January 23rd, 2019. Due to a recent move, Nala and my other two dogs are no longer allowed to be inside dogs. Nala has always had bad food aggression, but it is something we have been able to manage over the years. Now that they are outside, it is a lot harder and they have all been fighting. I would love to find loving homes for all of my girls as much as it breaks my heart. Thanks!

These pups are in Jacksonville, Florida too!

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Kingsley’s journey hasn’t been easy—he was found malnourished and terrified, but with patience and love he has blossomed into a happy, affectionate, and resilient boy. After 5 months in foster care, Kingsley is showing his true colors: he loves to gallop around the backyard, snuggle close, and even puts his paws on you to say “I love you.” Bonus—he has the cutest little bowtie pattern on his chest that makes him look dressed up for every occasion! Sweet and affectionate—he loves attention, cuddles, and giving kisses. Once shy and shut down, he’s blossomed into a joyful, loving dog. He enjoys zooming around the yard and showing off his goofy side. Mostly house trained (still adjusting but has made great progress). Kingsley has lived with small dogs, but food sharing can be an issue—he wants all the food and attention to himself. Because of this, he’d likely do best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love without competition. He’ll need an adopter with patience.

Story
I had gotten Teacup from a Georgia shelter. He is 1 year and some months old. I believe that his birthday is January 27, 2024. He is a big cuddler, loves being hugged and kissed. He loves other dogs and kids. He gets excited meeting new people. He does have a crooked tail and some of his toes are crooked since I first got him, the vet said there is no concern about it. He does get scared by loud noises and sometimes by water. The only dog food I give him is the Perena dog Chow chicken flavor. And eats any treats I give him. He is kennel trained. When in a kennel he sleeps on a few blankets. When out of the kennel he sleeps on a dog bed with blankets. He loves any toys, but can destroy them when not looking. He sometimes steals socks and hides them. He does know how to use puppy pads. He knows when to leave the yard and when not to. He sticks by your side and follows you anywhere with and without a collar.
