Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
I adopted Jada for a shelter 3.5 months ago. She’s a 1.75 year old spayed pit bull mix. Jada needs an active family who is willing to spend time training her. I am unable to give her enough consistent exercise. Jada is very sweet and cuddly if she’s had enough exercise. She’s playful and very smart. She’s highly food motivated and very athletic. She loves to run and jump. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend a home with small children. Jada has anxiety, particularly around separation and confinement. She needs someone to work with her on these issues with positive reinforcement. We’ve made progress, but I think consistent exercise like running, long hikes, etc. is the secret to Jada making true progress. Jada is easy to train with a clicker and treats. She knows sit, down, stay, look at me, and come pretty reliably.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Brandy is approximately 4 years old. She is a happy gal who loves being with people, and enjoys children. Brandy tolerates other dogs in her space if they leave her alone. However she does not like to play with other dogs. So she isn't the kind of dog who would enjoy a dog park. She would prefer to play with her toys alone or with her humans. On her walks she will ignore other dogs. Brandy is a little on the lazy side with short bursts of energy. She is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on leash. She enjoys car rides and is content to sit quietly in the back. In Brandy's ideal home she would be the only dog. She would enjoy some children to play with but it isn't a must. She would enjoy a fully fenced yard to run around and play in. She would enjoy a nice walk or hike. A trip to get a puppuccino or another tasty treat. Brandy weighs around 56lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you are interested in Brandy please submit an application to www.takemehomedogrescue.org

Story
Tina is a 1.5yr old Staffi that came into the shelter as a stray and was saved from euthanasia by our rescue. She loves to play and give kisses. She is good with people, but because she still very much acts like a puppy and does not know her strength, she should be placed in a home with kids over 10yrs old. Tina is looking for a 1 dog home with no cats. She is learning to walk on a loose leash and some basic house manners. She is spayed, vaccines & Rabies are current, she is microchipped and crate trained.

Story
This young man is only 9mo old and technically still a baby.  I am putting these words in quotes because it is directly from his foster, Eduardo.  "Vincent was saved from euthanasia because no one wanted to put the time in to train him. While at my house he worked on manners, he had none. He worked on housebreaking, he wasn't. He is a young, energetic, playful, sweet loving and smart boy. He will make a great companion for his new adopters. We will miss him".  Vincent is quite handsome and a gentleman to boot. He is a great dog and I am eternally grateful to Eduardo for the time he put into Vincent when no one else would.

Story
Buster's foster mom could NOT say enough about how great he is. He gets along with everyone he meets and is dog friendly. Bust likes to romp and play with anyone willing. He is good on the leash and would make an great ESA for an adult. Although Buster is dog friendly, he has been through ALOT and we are looking for a 1 dog home or a home with only 1 other well mannered dog about his size so Buster can be the focus of the attention his previous owner neglected. He CANNOT be placed with cats or small dogs. Buster some how was chipped with 2 different Microchips so both will need to be registered. Please contact us with any questions.

Story
Meet Poncho.  This adorable gentle giant is a sweetheart!  He is playful and loving.  This boy can make friends easily.  He is still young and has plenty of energy to play around.  He is good on the leash, and sometimes tends to pull a little if something catches his eye.  He needs an active family and a fenced backyard.  He will transition easily in to any family. Poncho was found wondering the streets and almost hit by a car.  He was so happy to have been rescued.  He has been amazing at his foster mom's home.  He is ready to have a family of his own.   Poncho is currently in a foster home in Houston, but transport is available to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  He is just waiting to catch your eye! www.springbranchrescue.org for adoption info and fees. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. ##1653082##
