Story
Meet Honey Bee, the fun-loving 1 year old girl with a heart as big as her playful spirit! At 43 pounds, she's the perfect mix of sweetness and fun! Honey is a social butterfly who loves to be out and about, especially if it means hopping in the car and cruising around in her comfy car seat. Her greetings with new friends are nothing short of amazing. She is a sweet bee for a reason! The first thing you will notice about Honey is how soft she is. Her new bestie, a 4 year old named Kobe, told us she is blanket soft! Sounds like many a cozy movie night is in your future with her. Sign me up! This little dynamo is a socialite among dogs, enjoying playtime with all her furry friends, big or small. Whether it's running around with her foster siblings or chasing her favorite 6-year-old grandson in the backyard she's quite the life of the party. Honey lived with 7 other dogs in her foster home, so there’s no need to question whether she is dog friendly or not! See Honey Bee, who is quite literally sweet as honey, right here! https://youtu.be/iCmtsKvUk40?si=cVoZvddA-R0ztLEI We mentioned her love of kids above, but we should definitely share more because there’s just so much to love about her. Honey has done well with her human foster's grandson, showcasing her gentle and loving nature. When she was here hanging at 3LP with us, Kobe was bouncing around on the couch, rolling around on the floor, and throwing toys up in the air. She didn’t care one bit, she just wanted to check on him and make sure he was okay when he fell on the floor. She is so sweet and caring, she would make a wonderful companion for a kiddo. She's a confident girl who isn't intimidated by big dogs, making her the perfect companion for families with children or other four-legged friends. While Honey is still mastering the art of crate training, she's a pro at sharing whether it's her food with other pups or toys during playtime. Just watch out for those toys, as Honey has a knack for turning them into confetti! But don't worry, she's a quick learner and takes correction like a champ. On leash, Honey’s making strides but might need a little extra help to perfect her walking etiquette. However, she's a natural at agility cones and loves zipping through tunnels and weaving through poles for fun. Honey’s ideal home would include a yard to explore and another playful pup to keep her company. In her foster home, she helps with laundry (but she may sneak off with your socks!) Honey enjoys laying by the windows soaking up the sun and taking in all of the nature outside. Honey enjoys hanging out in her bed while you take a bath and get ready for work. She doesn’t care what she’s doing, as long as it’s with you! Honey would be comfortable being your one and only if there’s no canine companion. An active family or couple willing to provide plenty of enrichment and adventure will do just fine! Though she's only encountered a cat once, Honey’s curiosity outweighs her hunting instincts, and she's more interested in watching small animals than chasing them. So, if you're looking for a furry friend to join you on all your escapades, Honey Bee might just be the perfect match for your family! Story
Sweet as chocolate, smooth like peanut butter, and filled with love, she is the sweetest treat you didn't know you were craving. Her name is Vienna Angel and she is our peanut butter cup of love. I personally am a sucker for dogs with resting sad face and Vienna absolutely has one of the cutest! Maybe she learned you get more treats this way. She knows how to work her puppy dog eyes to get what she wants. She will put you in a trance with her cuteness! This girl had me absolutely fawning over her with her warm peanut butter brown coat and soft, soulful eyes. She is the perfect blend of all the right things. Like your favorite candy, she's got a soft center, a little bit of bouncy, and whole lot of love to give. Watch her video and fall in love like we all have: https://youtu.be/cYNwipHk5qg?si=7LbLwdkb789fXCvv We believe Vienna is 2 years old and she appears to be a labrador and staffordshire mix. She currently weighs 70 lbs and is fully grown! If we could measure the love in her body-- she would measure in as 100%! Vienna's love language? Walks, car rides, puddles, and ice cream!! She doesn't beg for food....unless you're holding that magical pint of frozen goodness. Open the freezer, and Vienna will come trotting over, just in case there's a scoop with her name on it. She hopes any treat has her name written all over it. Vienna loves a good tasty snack and will do anything for a taste! Even if it means learning a few commands or practicing some that she already knows. She already knows how to sit, is crate trained and potty trained, and after the first five minutes of excitement (she's gotta get her wiggles out first), she has fantastic leash manners. Sometimes squirrels are just too good to resist so she would be best for someone who can help her stay focused and enjoy the walk outside in the sunshine together! Her fur? Like velvet. Her belly? Like a puppy’s. You’ll find yourself reaching for belly rubs as often as she rolls over for them—and she lives for that affection. One of Vienn's favorite thing in the whole world is to be outside! She loves her foster parents swimming pool and just hanging out in the sunshine! She is definitely a water lover. We cant blame her, this Texas heat is no joke! You can catch her lounging pool side (or in the shallow end). Grab this girl her sunnies and her towel! Vienna is also a wonderful car rider too. She loves sticking her head out the window and feeling the breeze on her face. Get ready for lots of beach trips with this lovely lady. Vienna Angel is very dog friendly and has been a lot of different dogs all with different personalities and temperaments. She has a wonderfully balanced energy and will match the energy of the other dog. She can be playful and she can also be a relaxed lady. When she is around a do that likes to play, she has a bouncy play style and enjoys the occasional rumble and tumble moments. Vienna would actually love if she were adopted into a home with another dog her size or slightly bigger. She would also do best in a kitty free home. We could totally see her in a home with older kids (she is a bit big and easily knocks over little ones) so 10 + is ideal! If you're asking her what her ideal home would be, her one request would be a yard. She loves to really bounce around when she plays and because of her healthy size. Some pretty green grass to sniff would be fantastic too! Vienna is a quiet gal who rarely barks, loves to nap, and never in your business. She would make a great work from home buddy because she's not clingy by any means and has a well balanced energy. By day, she's a low-key nap enthusiast but when the sun goes down and that cooler weather starts to roll in, her goofy side takes the stage. Expect zoomies, wrestling with her foster siblings, and the dramatic rug rollouts LOL! She's comedy on four legs with the best facial expressions to match. Vienna can be slow to warm up to the occasional person while also falling hard and fast for others, but all around, she is a friendly and loving dog. Now that I think of it, aren't we all the same way. She has all the makings of a perfect hang-out girlie. I can see the backyard barbecues, football watching parties, and marathon sessions of your favorite reality tv show with her by your side. Vienna is ready for a love connection and hopefully it is with you! Email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Meet Duke! He is currently 4 weeks old, 2 pounds, and we think she may be a Bully breed mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/6dBQBuVvRoM Duke is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play and take lots of naps! Eat, sleep, play, repeat. He is living his best puppy life right now - all he needs is YOU! He is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Duke’s new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Story
**Fostered in Everett, WA and ready for meet and greets!** This is the biggest Kitten you will see today! This Kitten is a big, lovable girl who is bouncy and playful, with a contagious amount of happiness. Her foster notes that she is "SO affectionate"! She enjoys standing you or sitting in your lap smoothering you in kisses! When you’re cuddling with her, don’t be surprised if she wants to nestle her big ole kissable head into your legs. Safe to say, this big girl definitely thinks she's a lap dog! Her foster momma calls Kitten her “weighted blanket”. Kitten falls HARD for her people. Sometimes she can be cautious when meeting new friends, but she ultimately just wants to be with her forever family. She is a little shadow following you everywhere, and staring up at you with her squishy face and puppy dog eyes no one can resist. Her nickname is Big Baby Love Bug for a reason! Estimated to be 3 years old and weighing 73 lbs, she is fully grown, and we cannot dance around it, she is a big girl. Given her size and eagerness to experience all the amazing things the world has to offer, a handler that can physically manage her will be key to keeping her focus. She listens well and is very attentive, no worries there, a little muscle is just for good measure. Plus she is treat motivated which will only help when it comes time to practice leash skills or obedience. Her love of treats make us think she will be a good student. She even knows how to sit! She is interested in people food, but is not pushy and accepts a "no" with ease. Take a look at her video and come back for more! https://youtu.be/jVKBZY9fMYQ?si=JArQjGjw9M-8bUNo Kitten would thrive in a family home, and kids who are steady on their feet would be ideal so she doesn’t knock any littles over with love. She currently lives with a 5 and 8 year old. Her favorite part of the day is waking them up for school, and greeting them again when they arrive home! She is potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps like a rock all through the night in her crate. She is an amazing work from home companion, snoring the day away on her bed. She will come up when you have breaks for extra reassurance that she is a good girl! Kitten would most likley need a home with a yard. She loves going on walks with her foster mom, and she is always getting compliments from people saying how beautiful she is. She would also do well in a home with another dog. Kitten does well with other dogs, especially confident, playful males who like to have a good time and don’t mind a big, bouncy playmate. She has a balanced way of playing—happy to engage but able to set boundaries if another dog is too rowdy. Kitten would love a moderately playful canine friend in her new home. She would also do great in a home with a small dog as a well. She met our small dog tester Mateo and you see her in her video, sharing treats, snuggling on the bed together, sharing affection, etc. There was a moment when she got a little too excited and Mateo of course didn't want to be stepped on and he growled at her and she respected his correction and understood that she needed to be a little more gentle around him. Kitten is an all around good doggy friend to all. Since she is so loving and people oriented, she also wouldn't mind being the center of your attention if you don't have other dogs. She is a happy and confident girly all on her own and does not need the comment of another dog to help her feel comfortable and be the social butterfly that she is. For a family who wants a loyal, attentive companion, Kitten’s affectionate nature is going to feel amazing, her and that happy heart are a real treasure. Because of her size and occasionally bouncy happiness, she’d be a great fit for a home with older kids who can handle her big-hearted energy. And despite her name Kitten is not meant for a kitten. Basically, no cats for Kitten! She’s a little too interested in them and might find it hard to resist chasing a feline friend around the house. If you’re ready to introduce people to you new 73lb Kitten, she is just as ready! If this was her dating profile, then kitten is ready for her long-term committed relationship. She will love you from the second you bring her home! Kitten is looking to share her big hearted excitement for life. Could that be with you and yours? Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Apply today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67229105ff00d854610a3af4 Questions? Story
Don’t let the name fool you, Princess Pearl is no frills, no fancy necesssary. Pearl is zoomie-gold, deep-splooting, loyal-to-her-core dog who's looking for a quiet life and a tight-knit family. She’s sensitive, playful, and full of personality! Watch her video here to see some of her best moves then come back to read more. https://youtu.be/0jaiKmbBj7g Breed and birthday are details we cannot guarantee since she is a rescue but we suspect she is a pittie/staffie mix, we estimate her to be just shy of 4 years old and weighs in at a manageable, adventure-ready, 54 lbs. This is a dog who loves to play, especially with her toys, and is known for her Grade A zoomies and perfect 10/10 sploots. She can be affectionate and silly, and once she bonds with you, she really bonds, and she is a girls-girl. Boys are okay but Pearl loves and lights up for the ladies. Female adopters who know that dogs are WOMANS Best Friend will appreciate her feminine focus. Pearls ideal home is a quiet one, she is seeking a sanctuary- no revolving door or constant stream of guests. If you’re vibe is hiking and nature-outings over dog parks and breweries- Pearl will fit that vibe beautifully and she has great basic leash skills with an easy pace. A yard is a must have, she told me herself when she zoomed by me in the yard “tell them I love having room to zoom!” Just between us, she has 3 good zoomin’ laps before she is all sploots but the girl wants what the girl wants. In my opinion, her deeeep love of a roll around in the grass is the real reason she needs a yard, you might miss out on that without one. Pearl is playful with other dogs but is not a “pack dog” -she prefers one-on-one connections with dogs, her bestie is a medium-energy male dog who is playful, loves to zoom with her, isn’t pushy and respects her space when she gets tired. Pearl needs a cat-free home, her love of chase and zoom do not mesh well with the feline friends. Pearl has met a wide variety of kids and is a playful girl who takes treats gently and releases her toys easily to play with them. Pearl had a special connection with an 11 year old in her foster home and we feel older kids (7+) would be best for her, when she gets zooming it would be easy for her to accidentally knock over a little one. This is a dog who doesn’t want a spotlight—she just wants her person. Pearl is a fantastic match for someone looking for a loyal, playful, funny dog who’ll be your adventure sidekick in quieter, nature-filled places and sweet shadow in a cozy home. Email cynthia@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!  The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!  We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.  Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Meet Eliza ! She is currently 4 weeks old, 2 pounds, and we think she may be a Bully breed mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch her video here: https://youtu.be/O9q2pF_-H6U Eliza is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play and take lots of naps! Eat, sleep, play, repeat. She is living his best puppy life right now - all she needs is YOU! She is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Eliza’s new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/68486d860284f267b401a22f Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. DESPERATE PLEA – END-OF-LIFE FOSTER OR ADOPTION NEEDED FOR TROY & TARYN We are urgently searching for a compassionate foster or adopter willing to open their heart and home to two senior dogs who may be nearing the end of their lives and deserve comfort, dignity, and love after unimaginable neglect. Troy and Taryn were found living in substandard conditions, suffering from severe malnutrition and starvation. Their bodies show the toll of prolonged neglect. One of them, Troy, had a stomach full of socks—so many that he was passing them for over a week, a heartbreaking sign of extreme hunger and desperation. Both dogs are elderly pit bull–type mixes, estimated to be 12 and 13 years old. Despite everything they’ve endured, they are friendly, loving, and deeply human-oriented. However, due to their history and age, they have understandable resource guarding and must be the only pets in the home. They should not be placed with other animals. They are currently still hospitalized at the veterinary clinic, receiving ongoing treatment. One or both may be suffering liver damage as a result of prolonged dehydration and starvation. Their future is uncertain—but what is certain is that they should not spend whatever time they have left in a kennel or hospital run. About the dogs: Taryn – Black and white, approximately 13 years old (the elder) Troy – Brown, approximately 12 years old (the one who ingested the socks) Both are affectionate, people-loving seniors Must be only pets due to age and resource guarding Ideal for a quiet, stable home willing to provide comfort care This is not a “fix them” situation. This is a plea for kindness, compassion, and a soft place to land. Whether it’s weeks or months, Troy and Taryn deserve to feel safe, warm, and loved. If you can open your home for foster or adoption, please apply immediately at: www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.net If you cannot help directly, please share. Story
Hi, I'm CHARM, I am a senior brindle that will charm you with my personality. I am a sweet and healthy girl, a Boxer blend that some call "tomboyish". I love all people, but I am a senior so I prefer older kids. I'm crate-trained and potty-trained. I'm ok with dogs when I see them on a walk, but would rather have a home without any dogs or cats. Check out my video (below) where I just tail-wag meeting strangers and even other dogs at a Petsmart adoption event. I'm already spayed, current on vaccines, and will come with a microchip. My adoption fee has been reduced because I am a senior even though I am healthy no one knows how much time anyone truly has left. Because like many seniors I am set in my ways and prefer to be the only pet, I have been frequently overlooked. I have been waiting for you my new best friend and I would love to give you the best years of my life, you won't be sorry I have so much love still left to give. Help my furever family find me. https://photos.app.goo.gl/9nwE51aa6uEb7Fuv6 www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.net adoption application
