FOSTER OR ADOPTION NEEDED FOR TARYN We are urgently searching for a compassionate foster or adopter willing to open their heart and home to Taryn fka Zeus. He deserves comfort, dignity, and love after unimaginable neglect. Troy and Taryn were found living in substandard conditions, suffering from severe malnutrition and starvation. Their bodies show the toll of prolonged neglect. One of them, Troy, had a stomach full of socks—so many that he was passing them for over a week, a heartbreaking sign of extreme hunger and desperation. Both dogs are Boxer, Terrier type mixes, and /or pitbull mixes estimated to be 8 years old. Despite everything they’ve endured, they are friendly, loving, and deeply human-oriented. However, due to their history and age, they have understandable resource guarding and proper introductions are a must About Taryn – Black and white, approximately 8 years old give or take a year or two affectionate, people- Ideal for a quiet, stable home willing to provide comfort and care He has done well in group play and walks well during pack walks. Zeus rides great in the car and is housebroke and knows some commands If you can open your home for foster or adoption, please apply immediately at: www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.net If you cannot help directly, please share. The right person is out there. This is a courtesy post for Emerald Street Kennels where Zeus fka Taryn is currently boarding. Story
Meet CHARM 💖 — a name she truly lives up to. Charm is a beautiful senior brindle Boxer mix with a heart as big as her smile. She’s sweet, healthy, and full of personality—what some might call a little tomboyish, but we call it endearing. She’s confident, affectionate, and absolutely loves people. Because she’s a senior, she’d do best in a home with older kids who can respect her calmer, more relaxed lifestyle. Charm already knows the ropes of being a great house dog. She’s crate-trained, potty-trained, and enjoys going for walks. She’s polite and easygoing when she sees other dogs out and about, but she would truly shine as the only pet, where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. Watch her video below and you’ll see exactly who she is—tail wagging, happily greeting strangers, and calmly navigating a PetSmart adoption event with grace and confidence. Charm is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, and her adoption fee has been reduced simply because she’s a senior. Sadly, that label means she’s been overlooked, even though she’s healthy and has so much love left to give. The truth is, none of us knows how much time we’re given—but Charm promises to make every moment count. She’s been patiently waiting for her person… her best friend… her safe place to land. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a gentle soul, and a dog who will love you with her whole heart, Charm is ready to give you the very best years of her life. Help her find the forever home she’s been waiting for. 📹 Video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/9nwE51aa6uEb7Fuv6 📝 Adoption application: www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.net https://photos.app.goo.gl/9nwE51aa6uEb7Fuv6 www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.net adoption application

Story
Meet Ghost — A Gentle Soul Who’s Come So Far Ghost’s journey is one of patience, growth, and quiet transformation. When he first came into rescue, he was overwhelmed by the world—vocal, reactive, and unsure of his surroundings. Today, that same dog has blossomed into a calm, affectionate, and laid-back companion who shows just how powerful love and consistency can be. Now about almost 8 years old, Ghost is a striking white Pit Bull mix with a soft presence and a deeply loving heart. He is deaf, which once made navigating the world confusing, but he has learned beautifully that safety, routine, and trust can replace fear. Ghost communicates through connection—eye contact, body language, and a quiet devotion to his people. Because he cannot hear other dogs’ cues, Ghost can occasionally misread interactions. For that reason, he would do best as an only pet or with a very calm, respectful dog companion who understands his needs. That said, Ghost recently attended an adoption event and did exceptionally well—remaining calm and interacting politely with other dogs. His progress has been remarkable. Ghost now enjoys the simple, peaceful things in life: Relaxing car rides Carrying or gently tossing his toys Lounging quietly near his people Forming deep, loyal bonds with those he trusts His foster describes him as sweet, gentle, loyal, and affectionate once he feels secure. With time and care, Ghost has truly mellowed, transforming from anxious and reactive to relaxed and confident. Special Notes: Neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines Adoption includes six complimentary training sessions with A Pawsitive Alternative Dog Training (Paul Kline) for Treasure Valley adopters A beautiful custom painting of Ghost, donated by one of his biggest fans, will go home with his adopter Ghost is ready to find his forever person—someone patient, kind, and understanding of a dog who listens with his heart instead of his ears. If you are looking for a loyal, steady companion who has already done the hard work of healing, Ghost is ready to meet you. Story
Meet Jackson – The Quirky Gentleman with a Big Personality At around 8 years old, Jackson is the perfect blend of charm, independence, and heart. This small terrier cross may have a few gray whiskers, but he’s still full of spunk — the kind of dog who keeps life interesting in the best way possible. Jackson has what we lovingly call a “cat-like personality.” One moment, he’s your biggest fan, ready for cuddles and belly rubs; the next, he’ll politely excuse himself for some alone time, as if to say, “I love you, but I need my space.” It’s all part of his quirky charm — and those who understand him quickly fall in love with his funny, expressive ways. Despite his independent streak, Jackson is affectionate, loyal, and easy to have around. He enjoys short walks, relaxing in a sunny spot, and being near his person — even if he’s pretending not to pay attention. What Makes Jackson Special: Senior sweetheart with personality and wit Small and manageable size — easy travel companion or apartment buddy Leash and house trained Prefers to be the only dog (he enjoys peace and quiet) Best in a calm, adult home where he can set the pace and routine Jackson is neutered, healthy, and current on vaccinations. He doesn’t need much — just a soft bed, a gentle hand, and someone who appreciates his mix of independence and affection. After all, Jackson isn’t looking for constant attention — he’s looking for understanding, for someone who loves him for who he is: a loyal, sometimes silly, always endearing little companion with a big heart.
