Story
Meet our Staffy Boys. These boys were born outside and continued living that way until rescue stepped in. They now sleep in a cozy warm house. They have been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. They are eating puppy food really well and enjoy puppy romper room games. They will need a home where someone is home to do house training. They will also need a home with a fenced in yard. They do well with other dogs and don't mind cats. They need a home with no kids or older children due to their size and still learning their manners.  Adoption fee is $413 ##1370033##

Story
I currently have 3 dogs and my males are not getting along, (Debo does not fight back or start the fights) instead of rehoming the aggressive dog I am making the hardest choice of my life and rehoming my sweet boy. I’ve had him since he was 5 weeks old and he just does not deserve to be attacked constantly, I’m looking at options in order to find him a better home where he can have doggy friends that love him and want to play with him. He is great with children. He carries his blankets around all day like a baby and sucks them. He absolutely loves to play ball and won’t stop until you are tired out. He is truly the best dog i’ve ever had. His birthday is May 1st 2020.

Story
Meet this big ol' love muffin! Behold, Mr. Tank! And boy, does this pup live up to his name. Tank came to us very recently as a stray and was never reclaimed by his previous family. We aren't quite sure how or why someone would let this hunk of handsome go because he's a super duper good boy! If his adorable little smile doesn't reel you in, than his butt wiggles and charm will certainly will. He has been a doll with all of our staff members and has done great meeting kids. Tank doesn't seem bothered by the other shelter dogs, leading us to believe transitioning into a home with a canine sibling should be pretty easy. We have not yet cat-tested this gentle giant, but have faith that he will do just fine. Tank has done fabulous about keeping a clean kennel and plays politely with toys. He is VERY strong on leash and would likely benefit from being walked with a harness or having a fenced yard to romp around in. Don't worry, hardcore exercise is not on this guy's to-do list and he's more than content spending his afternoons snuggling up on the couch. If you're looking for a large, loveable, and loyal pup. Look for further! Tank's here waiting and he can't wait to go home!

Story
This sweet lady is Miss Pecan! Pecan is a walking ray of sunshine with a big ol' smile on her face! She came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed by her previous family. Pecan is a higher energy girl that loves to play hard and love even harder. She does great in the fenced yard out back and seems to have a decent recall. She keeps a clean kennel through the day and is interested in making doggie friends. We have not yet cat-tested her, but we're pretty confident she'll be alright with them. If you've stopped by our shelter in the short time she's been here you've likely heard her singing in the back....although her singing sounds more like a squawking chicken. Hey, at least she's entertaining! Pecan is as sweet as pie! Meet her and find out for yourself why we love this girl so much!

Story
Helloooooo. I'm Roxy and I am 6 years old! I am a really sweet girl that enjoys going on walks! While I do need some leash manners, I am quick to learn because I loooove treats! I love to stay busy and have play time. I especially love to play fetch and I am quite good at it! At the end of the day, I want some cuddle time as well, and I really love to lounge on the couch and lay my head in your lap to fall asleep. Ohhh, and my favorite thing ever is some butt scratches, so my new furever home must include those too! I get along well with other dogs, and I do wonderful with kids too, but no cat friends for me please! I came into the shelter as a stray, but my collar said my name on it, so at least I got to keep my original name. I'm a sweet girl, and would love to come home and join your familySome quick facts about me: Not Cat FriendlyDog FriendlyKid FriendlySweet girl that loves to playWeight: 51 lbsIntake Date: 10/13/2023Reason: StrayGive the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! Story
Hi, I'm Serena and I am 4.5 years old! I am the sweetest, goodest girl once I am comfortable around you! I am shy at first, but when I realize we are friends, get ready for lots of energy and to wrestle! I love to play, including with the water hose! I am cat friendly, but I can be picky on my doggy friends because I like to be the one in charge, especially during play time. I would do wonderful in a one person home or with a couple that has older kids. I used to be an emotional support dog, and I have saved my person's life a few times, but due to circumstances that were of no fault of mine, I had to be surrendered here to the shelter. I would love to find my furever home soon so please come out to meet me!Some quick facts about me: Cat FriendlyDog SelectiveKid Friendly (ages 12+)HousetrainedSweet & SillyIntake Date: 01/20/2024Reason: Unsuitable AccommodationsGive the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me!
