Story
It's Mari! We believe she's a Staffordshire/terrier mix but her foster parent is pretty sure there's some Lab or Great Dane in there. This beautiful unique breed mix makes her a Big Sweet Gallumphing Bébé ??Mari is a 3 year old girl who is house trained, kennel trained, and excellent on the leash. In foster care she is learning commands like "sit," "come," "paw," and "aren't you so beautiful." Mari would thrive as a solo dog; she's an excellent companion dog for a loving person or family. Mari likes riding in the car with you and napping on a big soft dog bed. She is a good listener. She is quiet and curious about the world. Mari has big paws, beautiful brown eyes, and a very big heart.Mari is low maintenance - she would love snacks, napping, a nice walk, and a good chew bone, and that's about it. Mari would make an excellent companion dog for an adopter looking for a best friend.Mari is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. She is heartworm positive and has a sponsor to pay for her treatment. She is available at the Plaquemines Campus at 455 F. Edward Hebert Blvd in Belle Chasse. We are open Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 5pm. For any questions, please call 504-934-6931 or email plaqueminescampus@laspca.orgThanks to GOOD PUP, Mari comes with FREE training to help create a strong bond with her new family right from the start.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact info@petadoptionservices.org for more information about this pet. Prancing Princess Marie is just as sweet and loving as can be. She plays well with other dogs but prefers to play with dogs her size that are well-mannered and aren't dominant. She is well-suited for being someone's exercise partner on a nice long walk. Toys and a fenced backyard to hang out with her people and catch a few rays are some of her favorite things. Although, Marie, can take sunbathing to an extreme and has to be reminded that it's time to go inside or get in the shade. Kisses are a must with this girl. She feels strongly that she is not too big to be a lap dog, and thinks lap time is the best time for ear scritchies.  Marie knows basic commands quite well and is housebroken.   Princess Marie is current on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She is current on flea preventative and heartworm preventative, and has tested negative for heartworms. If you are interested in meeting Marie, please complete a  Dog Adoption Application *Local adoptions only (within 1 hour of New Orleans). We do NOT ship animals. Home check is required, therefore, we will be delivering this pet to your home.  Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish). Story
Hi I'm Cam!! I am about a year and a half old and the sweetest boy. I am house trained, crate trained, and a perfect playmate. I get along with all dogs; I am very patient and playful with kids. I am always ready with love and cuddles but need a lot of play time. I would do well with an active family, preferably if you have a yard or love long walks. I shouldn't be as happy and outgoing and friendly as I am but look out because I LOVE YOU!!! I walk fantastically on leash and am a quiet boy when in my kennel. I have learned that people are pretty cool even though people have let me down in the past! I have velvety soft fur and chubby jowls to kiss you with. Story
My name is Telly. I am a sweet English bulldog mix. I am only 4 years old but was chained in a yard by backyard breeders. I was a cruelty case. I was rescued by a municipal shelter,I was skin and bones. You could count every rib which makes me greedier than my regular Bulldog fence. Experience with the breed is required, for more info email adopt@animalrescueneworleans.org.________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application.
