Story
Hi, I'm Milly Mae! I am a large bully type terrier mix with so much love to give! I am a lovely dog with an amazing, snuggly personality. Some volunteers have taken me on dog's day out field trips and I always behave myself and have a great time! My energy levels are moderate to high and I'm a strong lady, but I also enjoy couch naps. Treats and toys are equally exciting to me but I can sometimes resource guard them along with my food bowl. Im not a big fan of grooming either. I cannot safely live with cats or small animals. If you're looking for a gorgeous gorgeous girlie to be your bestie, come meet me!

Story
I AM SPONSORED! Thank you Angie Garcia for sponsoring me in loving memory of my black prince Woody. Meet Shnookie, a playful and energetic 1- to 2-year-old Boxer mix with a heart full of joy. Her curious nature turns every day into an adventure. She’s always eager to explore, whether it’s a new walking path or a puzzle toy. Shnookie is known for her sweet demeanor and funny antics, which bring smiles to everyone around her. While she’s not fond of cats, she absolutely adores human companionship. Adopting Shnookie means welcoming endless laughter, boundless energy, and unconditional love into your home. She’s the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal and loving friend. Dogs are usually tested with other dogs their size, and we encourage meet-and-greets with your dog before adoption. Cat tests are available if requested, but they only check for clear aggression. Always be careful when introducing dogs to cats. Advice about dogs living with children is based on behavior like energy level and how the dog handles touch. Young children should never be left alone with dogs, and we cannot guarantee how any dog will behave with kids or other pets. Behavior seen in the shelter is just a snapshot and may change in a home. Dogs come from many backgrounds and may need training, time, and patience. Dogs should not be fed together unless you know they do not guard food. We also suggest learning about a dog's breed or mix to be sure it fits your family. Moving to a new home can be stressful for dogs. Use the Rule of 3 to help them adjust: First 3 days: Dogs may feel scared, tired, overexcited, or not want to eat. First 3 weeks: Dogs start learning routines and may show new behaviors. Keep things calm and avoid busy places. First 3 months: Dogs usually feel settled and more comfortable.
