Story
Meet Cyrus, the delightful  Staffordshire Terrier Mini Australian Shepherd mix born 4/30/23 and weighing in at 50 pounds. Cyrus is a clever and potty-trained pup, always eager to learn new tricks for a tasty treat.  Cyrus's unique blend of breeds brings together the agility of an Australian Shepherd and the charm of a Staffordshire Terrier, making him the perfect companion for both shopping sprees and cozy evenings at home.Although initially reserved, once he trusts you, he transforms into a Velcro dog, sticking by your side with unwavering loyalty.  Cyrus was one of nine puppies born to Mama Ember who was brought to Nebraska after being dumped in the country in Oklahoma, she made it here just in time to deliver her babies in the safety of her foster home. There were some complications due to a breech puppy and Ember ended up being rushed to the vet for an emergency c-section for the delivery of her last two pups. Her breech baby didn’t make it but the remaining nine babies are thriving under her care! The suggested adoption fee for Cyrus is $365. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ is a non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR are adopted with DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already spayed or neutered if old enough, or a voucher will be provided once the dog becomes of age. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1713591##

Story
Sailor, an American Staffordshire Terrier, was taken in as a stray by a vet clinic in Holden, KS where she gave birth to eight beautiful puppies in September. Sailor's estimated birthday is March 31, 2022. Sailor is currently thriving in her foster home where she enjoys ice cubes, peanut butter, and playing with her human kiddos. When she hears "night night," she knows that it's bedtime, and this little smartie gets right in her kennel with a small treat.  She also knows "wait" and "gentle."  When playing fetch, she sits politely without being told.  When relaxing, Sailor enjoys watching the dog channels on YouTube.  We've learned that Sailor doesn't like loud noises, which seems to be her only negative trait. We predict that Sailor will be a valued addition to some lucky family. The suggested adoption fee for Sailor is $365.  Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1838312##

Story
We bought Riley 3 years ago in Kansas. Our biggest issues with her is she’s mean towards anyone but my wife. She (wife) mainly does all the feeding and letting her out to go to the bathroom. She’s also not friendly to our much smaller French Bulldog. I have 3 kids and it’s just not worth the hassle. I would STRONGLY recommend 1 or 2 adults only. No other kids or pets. Riley does have a soft side. She loves to play. Fetching and pulling on toys are her favorite. She also loves going for a walk.

Story
Sadie Boxer Spayed female 8 years old, 50 pounds Sweet-natured indoors and game for adventure outside, Sadie is a great fit for a moderately active home -- whether you’re an individual, a couple, or a family, but we do feel she would thrive as the only pet. This Boxer loves couch cuddles, porch snoozes, backyard ball time and neighborhood strolls. Ask if she wants to go outside and she comes alive, spinning in happy circles with a little excited whine. She’s good with kids and has done well with a kindergarten-aged neighbor and her foster’s young teen. She likes a slow hello with new people; give her a moment to settle and, once she feels safe, she’s your buddy. Sadie is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained, though she feels nervous confined in a crate; she has free-roamed for up to four hours with no mischief. Her foster works from home, so she goes outside several times a day. On walks she can be protective and may bark or growl at passersby, but her foster is working to soften that tendency. With some missing teeth, she eats water-softened kibble in three small meals, which has helped her weight. Since she can fixate on squirrels, cats and some dogs, a secure, taller privacy fence is preferred for Sadie to live her best life. If this description sounds like a good fit, please consider completing our online application. Adoption application at nebraskanokill.org Suggested adoption donation:  $200.00  September 4, 2025, 9:56 pm

Meet Bingo! This outgoing guy is looking for an active home that can keep up with him! He would do best in a home as the only dog because of his exuberant prey drive with cats and his inability to share well with other dogs. He would thrive in a home that can provide lots of mental and physical exercise as he is a typical, silly Bull Terrier. Come meet him today!
