Story
Meet Ryder, a wonderful puppy with lots of love to give! Ryder is the perfect combination of affectionate, loyal, playful, and smart, and he loves giving kisses. He may be a bit independent, as he is still young and just exploring the world around him, but he will always be there to snuggle up close to you. Ryder may be too young to fully know if he gets along with other dogs, but he is very people-oriented and loves making human friends - especially his future forever family! He would do best in a home where he can receive plenty of love, attention, and training as he grows. If you're looking for a puppy with lots of love and affection, Ryder is your boy! I love to meet people and make friends! Please complete an adoption application so I can meet you! Please complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION at http://www.bigredrescue.com. Your $450.00 ADOPTION DONATION will be used to help rescue the next pet in need. (As a rescue we reserve the right to assist the applicant in selection of a pet. Please understand some families will not possess the qualities necessary for certain pets.) OUR RESPONSIBILITY: All adopted pets are (age appropriate) current with rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations. All of our rescued pets are micro-chipped and (age appropriately) spay or neutered. Story
Carl is a neutered 4 year old male, a large dog at around 70 pounds. He's a tall boy, long legs! He is an American Staffordshire terrier mix. He is UTD on all shots, heartworm negative and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Carl enjoys all the fun games a dog should enjoy, like "find it," "hide a toy" or searching for treats hidden around the house. He knows several tricks like sit, down, stay, sit pretty, roll over, and turn around and is successful when there are no distractions. His intelligence is through the roof so he learns very quickly. He likes food puzzles, and lick mats. Carl does require an experienced adopter and a fenced in yard will be required. We feel he will do best with kids 12 and over due to high anxiety and being unsure of other little ones. He is very loving once he is comfortable around you and wants to lay on your lap. He loves to go on walks but is reactive on the leash, so he will need additional work in that area. He is an only dog that lived in a home with younger children and a cat and he got along great with the cat. He has very high anxiety at the vet. (Us too, Carl, us too) He does wear a muzzle at the vet and does require short term sedation in order to have his vet visits. Please don't let Carl's unique doggie traits deter you. While he does require some special things in life and will need a very patient home, I do feel like his people are out there for him. He is such a sweet boy and just wants to love and be loved by he people. This handsome boy is available now for adoption so if you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an adoption application. His adoption fee is $275 to offset all vetting costs.

Story
Shark is the happiest Little (sic) bully mix we've ever met. He was raised by Dachshunds, in wheel chairs, and loves is best pal, Cheddar, in one of the pics. He has since discovered other breeds, similar in size and temperament, who love to play as much as he does. His favorite game is "keep-away" or "tug-o-war" with ropes and toys. Never comes in clean, as he gets rolled a lot, on purpose. He just LOVES to wrestle, no matter rain or shine!

Story
Sailor, an American Staffordshire Terrier, was taken in as a stray by a vet clinic in Holden, KS where she gave birth to eight beautiful puppies in September. Sailor's estimated birthday is March 31, 2022. Sailor is currently thriving in her foster home where she enjoys ice cubes, peanut butter, and playing with her human kiddos. When she hears "night night," she knows that it's bedtime, and this little smartie gets right in her kennel with a small treat.  She also knows "wait" and "gentle."  When playing fetch, she sits politely without being told.  When relaxing, Sailor enjoys watching the dog channels on YouTube.  We've learned that Sailor doesn't like loud noises, which seems to be her only negative trait. We predict that Sailor will be a valued addition to some lucky family. The suggested adoption fee for Sailor is $365.  Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1838312##

Story
Lucy is a beautiful adult American Staffordshire Terrier & Pitbull Terrier mix (born 2021).   She's a good dog who's housebroken, knows some commands and is happy to be around other dogs.  She friendly with strangers and children of all ages.  She is crate trained when no one is home to make sure she does not get bored and into anything.  She will willingly go in her kennel if you make that her routine.   Lucy is about 45/50 lbs.  Lucy likes lots of attention.  She needs someone or people with time and energy to focus on her.  A good home for Lucy will also have a privacy fenced in yard so she can get plenty of exercise or have the time to take her on walks or to the dog park daily.    All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first. We are all volunteers that work so we can not easily take or make phone calls.March 14, 2025, 4:51 pm

Story
Meet Ginny, the sweetest, smartest, softest snuggler around! She is a 2-year-old Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier mix (best our vet can tell). You'd never guess this sweetheart spent the first years of her life living as a stray in TX. Ginny's favorites are her humans, walks, chew toys, snuggling, car rides, and treats. It can take her a few minutes to warm up, but when she does she will love you forever! She is so smart and learns commands quickly. She's young so is energetic and needs walks daily, and would not want to be in her kennel for longer than 5 hours at a time. She knows sit, kennel, shake, and down. She is house-trained and crate trained. We use a gentle leader for walks to help her behave. She's just the best girl! We are very sadly rehoming her because she does not get along with our older dog. She needs to be an only dog, although she loves socializing at the dog run.
