Meet Suzy — the Sweetest Little Bundle of Joy! Suzy is a playful, loving puppy who brings pure happiness everywhere she goes. She gets along great with other dogs and loves being right in the mix—sometimes a little too excited with her kisses, but she’s learning boundaries just like any young pup. She listens well to other dogs’ cues and adjusts quickly. She’s also been around ducks and even a horse with no aggression at all—just curious sniffs and gentle interest. Suzy’s favorite things in the world? Soft blankets and squeaky toys! She’s the definition of cozy and cute. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate puppy who loves everyone she meets, Suzy is ready to wiggle her way into your heart and home. Story
This is Truffle! Look at this beautiful black and white pittie mix! She is about 9 weeks old and is the most loving, adorable puppy ever! Her foster mom reports she is full and spunk, sass, cuddles and puppy love! She enjoys running and playing with her littermates! There are 6 total! She is still a puppy so her personality is changing all the time! She currently lives with her littermates, the resident dogs and kids! Like all puppies she has sharp puppy teeth and nails and tends to jump up when excited or playing! This girl is very smart and will need daily physical and mental stimulation! It would be best for little Truffle to be in a home with a yard where she can run and play and get all her zoomies out! It would also be ideal for her to be with a family who has experience with pittie breeds and understands the importance of setting healthy boundaries, proper training and adequate exercise. Is Truffle right for your family? Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Story
Hi, I am Dosi Dozer!! I am a 3 year old staffy mix who is ready for all the fun and love my new family has to offer! Im always hearing how great I am in play groups and how sweet I am! I am pretty much the MVP at playgroup and fit in so well with all other dogs! I am very eager to please and love playing fun games! I am a strong boy who will need continued support with loose leash walking as I am just so excited to see all the other dogs and people the world has to offer! I went for a wonderful walk down by the river and much to my disappointment I wasn’t allowed to freely swimming in the river so if you’re looking for a water loving boy, I’m your guy!! I am not super food motivated but am more motivated by my people. I am told that i do a great job responding and being aware of my handler! I am a big people pleasing pup! I am about 65 pounds and am a perfect size to snuggle with those chilly PNW days agreed! I also a great buddy yo take on any adventure with my new humans! My goal is to show my new humans so much love and be the absolute best friend they never knew they needed! My new family will need to help crate train me. Since I'm in boarding, crate training among other basic obedience in the home will be unknown so an adopter with patience will be key. I know my perfect forever family is out there somewhere! Bonnie Lynn is a happy girl, looking for a loving home. She’s the perfect activity buddy, enjoying walking, swimming, playing, etc. She loves other dogs, although she has interest in small animals, such as rabbits, squirrels, etc., so a home without small dogs or cats is preferred. Bonnie will thrive best in a structured environment and with a confident handler. Story
The best part of adopting a rescue dog is when you get to actively be a part of their journey. You get to continue to help a once broken soul learn to trust, watch them regain their confidence, see those frown lines remove from their forehead and make their way to their cheeks from the big beatiful smiles they now wear on their faces. Are you looking to change a life and be that angel for a dog? Meet Jolene. You would never know that this striking brindle beauty was once laying on the side of a very major road, desperately waiting in the same spot for anyone to stop and help. She exudes joy and happiness. She loves attention and will loyally sit at your side just to feel your presence. Top that with some pets, and she will be your best friend for the rest of her life! A loyalty beyond measure. Jolene was found in an area that is not so great for dogs. She likely never had an owner or if she did, was highly probable that she was a backyard dog with very little human interaction. She has learned everything from scratch-- and has done fabulously! Jolene has mastered leash walking and will walk graciouisly next to her person. She is pretty amazing in public places, with her focus to her human. Jolene has been to many social, public stores and beer gardens to show off her good girl manners. She nonchalantly walks through the isles getting oohs and aahs from many admirers. Jolene is gentle and knows how to be a classy lady and not jump up when greeting, she will take treats very softly, and welcomes all pets from any human friends. You can pet her head, touch her tail, rub her belly, tickle her feet. Wanna check out her pearly whites? She will let anyone do that too! Jolene is very independent and self entertains. She knows how to spend time alone in her crate. The best part of her day is when her person gets home. Just ask her to "go kennel" and she will happily obilige. She knows that her person will be home and give her love at the end fo the day, and will be the very best girl in her crate, waiting patiently until you arrive just for that special moment. Her foster mom works a full time job and Jolene is on a great crate routine that will easily transfer into any home. She enjoys toys and bones, and happy to share with her human. Car rides are her favorite. She loves treats-- dehydrated liver makes her melt! She will be at attention and eager to please for a little nibble. She know basic commands such as sit, no, down, up, go kennel, shake. Want a pup that you can take on the road with you? Just open the car door and she will jump right in-- she will comfortably sit quietly on the seat or will jump into a crate if that's how you prefer to roll! She is light and limber on her feet and would make an excellent walking or hiking companion. She is the best of both worlds- young and agile enough for someone athletic and at the same time, super low key and will fit into a lower energy home just as beautifully. Jolene was found wandering with a male canine companion and has been best friends through a chain link fence to two large male pitties that live next door to her foster's home. They run back and forth along the fence line playing with eachother. She would bring her toys to the fence to show them off. It was always freindly, but it's because she felt the safety and security the fence offered. We have been working hard in offering positive experiences, and she has come a very long way but she is still a little unsure of other dogs. Jolene will not lunge, bark or react to any dogs around her but will not do well in an environment where unwelcomed dogs come into her space. It makes her nervous and uncomfortable and she will give a very clear correction. She is very easy to manage and redirects like a dream. She is the type of dog that prefers to have a small safety bubble around her. Due to the challenges and insecurities she is still battling, it would be best for Jolene to go into a home without any other dogs. Jolene has been very fortunate to work with our rescue behavior team that has helped her grow her confidence and learn to be very comfortable in different scenarios. It makes me so proud to see a once nervous girl so confidently hanging out at a brewery and sitting on a complete strangers lap, and being the best behaved dog in the room! Is she perfect? No. Does she have amazing potential to be the very best companion? Heck yes! Anyone that takes a chance on her will be a very lucky person. Once she loves you, she loves you with every molecule in her body and she's not afraid to show it-- in kisses!! Ready to be that person for Jolene?
