Story
Stitch Breed: Boxer (XL edition) Sex: Male Age: Puppy Special Skill: Stealing hearts and probably your couch Stitch is Reuben’s partner in crime and chaos—slightly more thoughtful, just as oversized, and equally confused about why humans keep making terrible life choices. He’s affectionate, playful, and the kind of dog who looks at you like you personally hung the moon. Stitch bonds quickly and loves being close—preferably touching you with at least one paw at all times. Like his brother, Stitch is still learning the ropes. He’s not broken, not damaged, not “too much.” He’s just a big puppy who needs guidance instead of abandonment. Ideal home: Someone ready for training, structure, and a whole lot of slobbery gratitude. Adoption Fee: $250 Currently located in Fosters, AL and can be transported North to an adopter for an additional $200. Interested in adopting? Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
This squish is called tuna and he is a chunky handsome boy. If he is rolled up just right, he looks like the most perfect croissant with his perfect rolls and squish. He is not shy of new people he comes right up for love. This boy is SPECIAL. He is used to being around a bunch of different dogs where he stays in boarding. His play style is happy-go-lucky and he is always down to make friends. One of our more dominate dogs kept messing with him by rubbing up against him trying to tell him that he was top dog, Tuna wasn't interested and moved away to avoid him. He kept coming up to him, so tuna corrected him a few times for going near him because Tuna didn't like him very much, but Tuna did not aggress and just stayed away from the male dominant dog. Tuna loves the pool and that was his safe place when he was in the yard. He let other dogs join him in the pool to relax. He was more of an explorer in the play yard but did join in occasionally with the pups to play. Tuna would be good for someone who has a back yard he can hang out in and dog pool to slash around in. He LOVESS water. She will be ready for her forever home on October 22nd (spayed/vetted) and can be in your home by the 24th!! Just in time to get her a cute little Halloween outfit! Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Story
Reuben Breed: Boxer (extra-large, heavy on the “oops he’s still growing”) Sex: Male Age: Puppy (but already the size of your emotional baggage) Reuben is what happens when someone orders a small puppy and the universe delivers a full-size linebacker instead. Big paws, big heart, zero awareness of personal space. He’s sweet, goofy, and deeply offended by the concept of being abandoned. Reuben loves people, loves attention, and believes he should be involved in everything you do—especially sitting, eating, and breathing. He’s still a puppy, which means: • He’s learning • He’s clumsy • He’s going to need structure, patience, and a sense of humor Reuben didn’t ask to be dumped. He just wants a family that understands big dogs grow fast, love hard, and don’t belong on the side of the road. Ideal home: Someone who knows Boxers are part dog, part cartoon character, and all heart. Adoption Fee: $250 Currently located in Fosters, AL and can be transported North to an adopter for an additional $200. Interested in adopting? Story
Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4.5-year-old beauty. She is a Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier that weighs about 60 pounds. She is a beautiful grey and tan coat that is shiny and she is not too big of a shedding dog. She is loyal and does get along with dogs. Her preference is smaller male dogs or smaller submissive females. She was adopted as a puppy and returned at 4 years old because she didn’t get along with the other female dog in the home. She loves people and loves kids. She is potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She is very affectionate and slept with her family in the bed at night. She was really nice to all the people she met today at the rescue. She loved cuddles and being petted. We could adopt her locally with other dogs and we can test the dogs out. If she goes outside the state of Texas she would make a great only dog. She would be a great companion dog for someone wanting an outdoor companion on your activities and a dog willing to cuddle when you want to chill and read a book. She is the best of both worlds. She is house trained and goes potty outside. They have worked with trainers so she is skilled as far as training goes and was following direction nicely at the Rescue. She could be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. She if fully vetted, healthy and ready for her forever home. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
