Story
Larry has had a rough start to his life. Animal Control was called to pick him (and his two brothers) up from his previous home when his owners moved and left them behind. The 3 pups were found sitting in a crate in the yard with no food or water. These pups were so friendly and eager to greet the AC officer, they were really just happy to be alive and that someone found them. Even being at the shelter was sadly better than being in a crate on an abandoned property. All three are very friendly pups and love people. They are happy and affectionate little pups. Larry is 1.5 years old, 30 lbs, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative. We will post Moe separately. Their other brother Curly was taken in by another rescue group. This precious girl named Mona has had a rough beginning to her life. She was roaming the streets of Memphis looking for food and was brought in by Animal Control. There her life was on the line due to an overcrowded shelter. A good samaritan fostered her for a short time until they had health problems and could no longer take care of Mona. Once again, she was in dire need of a home. A boarding facility in GA stepped up and said they would house Mona until placed, but that was well over a year ago! Sweet Mona has spent the last several years in a shelter or boarding and needs a soft place to land. She deserves a family of her own and we would like her to be in a home for the holidays. She can be FOSTERED or ADOPTED. Mona is 6.5 years old and 55-57 lbs. She will be full vetted and spayed before being adopted. She has gotten along well with all people and dogs she's met. Story
This precious pup named Larry was found abandoned at a rural property along with 2 other male dogs. A good samaritan (neighbor) noticed the dogs and asked me to help. All three dogs were brought to safety, vetted and were in need of a home. The dogs were named Curly, Larry, and Moe (after the 3 stooges). This post is for Larry as we need to find him a home by January 15. He is in very temporary foster care and the landlord will not allow him there after this time. Larry is 11 mos old and only 32 lbs. He is fully vaccinated, neutered and HW negative. He loves people, going on walks and riding in the car. The current foster is an UBER EATS driver and Larry rides along with her daily. He's a wonderful companion! We would not pair him with a tiny dog as he does attempt to guard food and toys from the smaller dog he's living with currently.
