Appointments are 7 days a week and most holidays as long as someone is available to see you. If you get voicemail, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can! Many of our locations offer crates, playpens and starter kits (leash, collar, food, toys, treats, bowl etc.) for a donation. We do same day adoptions. An application is required before coming to visit our adoptable dogs. Jax is a wonderful dog who came into my life when I was really struggling to get out of an abusive relationship, my ex abandoned him with me in Las Vegas. I did the best I could, even relocating him and his cat friend Oliver to upstate New York which is where I have decided that it is in the best interest of him and his cat brother that I rehome them. They deserve to be out here. I unfortunately do not have a stable living situation for now and I can’t drag them thru this journey ahead of me. He does need a home with no other pets, and hoping that it would be a home that would be willing to adopt Oliver the cat as well. Please reach out if it sounds like Jax and Oliver might be a good fit for your living situation. I need to do the unselfish thing and give them the life they deserve even if it’s not with me. They are wonderful pets, I only want the best for them.

Wilma is being fostered in NJ. Hello from Wilma in NJ! Wilma just wants to be with a person and has aspirations of being a lap dog. She enjoys walking, but is not a runner, is attracted to other dogs and ignores the cat and rabbit she lives with, so the house stays peaceful. Wilma rides well in the car regardless of where we are traveling to, and waits patiently in the car during grocery trips. Napping is a favorite pastime. And anytime treats are involved she is definitely interested. Altogether Wilma is a wonderful companion. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
